I've loved this song since it was first released. After I arrived home from Afghanistan I'd watch the clip and bawl my eyes out. Thank you Amanda and Brian for getting it.

I usually have to be in a certain kind of mood for a song to make me cry, especially the first time I hear it. The first time I heard this song was just now. I was in a perfectly normal mood, eating breakfast and watching youtube videos. Then I listened to this. Now I'm crying into my cereal. In a good way though!

you have to respect talent, simple as that. The dolls and Amanda Palmer herself have a thoughtful energy that few others seem to have. Long may her light shine in a sea of darkness.

This song is about forgiveness, not empowerment. Its about looking on the other side to those that you may have hurt or wronged or arguments you didnt see the other side of. Its not a song about self-empowerment. Look at amanda. Thats not her being effing mazzy star over here. This song is looking at the other side of what you know, understand and believe. This is my breakfast, because it humbles me.
