It feels like it's taking forever to build upper body strength to hold some of these multiple spins! I work on them regularly, and I've seen improvement so I know it is happening, but I still can't continue with multiple styles of spins at once....

I think it's normal. Multiple spins on spinning without re-grabbing are hard to hold. When I get tired I'm struggling to make it to the climbing part myself. You can use these spins like conditioning exercises - repeat just 2-5 times on each side, but regularly. Eventually you'll be able to hold longer. Or maybe put just one spin in a choreo? In any case, make sure that you're engaging your back the whole time - also if your hands start sliding down.

Thanks for the video! I've been practising this for months but still my hips just bash into the pole (I can do forearm spins fine)! I just don't understand how to keep that space or momentum in that position. Do you have any other tips?

I'm having a hard time staying up and not slipping down :/ I can do basic hold just fine but transitioning to side hold and staying up... Not sure what I'm doing wrong 🤔
