Making a Simple Coil Pot - With a Fancy Neck!

In this video, I make a simple coil pot and decorate it with a sculpted neck. There are lots of different ways to make easy coil pots, but just because they are simple does not mean that they have to be plain.
You can add whatever decorative details you like. I like the asymmetry of the neck on this one compared to the regularity of the coils. But really you can either keep your pot simple or add a little decorative twist.

I think this was stoneware 'buff school clay'. I got it from Bath Potters.
