I am the proud owner of all 11 albums - a-ha is an AMAZING band - and they are even better live. Extremely accomplished writers, musicians and vocalists. They are not just big in Norway, they were very successful all over the world bar the US (but Take On Me was a #1 there). The follow-up to Take On Me, "The sun always shines on TV" was #1 in the UK - and many other countries. The US lagged behind for various reasons. Morten Harket has one of the most beautiful voices ever - and he still sings absolutely wonderfully now in his 60s! Thank you for giving this a go and for the person who requested it. 🌹🕊

I believe I read somewhere that A-ha didn't tour the US after their Hunting High and Low album, because US record executives wanted to market A-ha as a pretty boy pop band who sings Take On Me, and A-ha didn't want that image, and chose to leave the US market behind. As we all know A-ha over the decades has written beautiful and sophisticated music that has garnered them international acclaim which has made A-ha one of the best selling music artists of all time.

Yeah he held it for 19-20 seconds here. He will often get close to in the live versions, but ive also seen him do it for like 12 seconds. Also Brazil is their biggest market outside Europe.

Hi, thanks for reacting to A-HA Summer Moved On live at the Oslo Spektrum. I love this song this is one of my many favourite songs by A-HA. I have been an A-HA fan for the past 39 years now (Since i was 16) i’m 54 now. A-HA have produced the soundtrack to my life. They are a brilliant band in the studio and live. A-HA are criminally underrated and unappreciated by many which i find so sad. They have released 11 albums the latest one being called True North in 2022. The longest note still gives me chills when i hear this song performed live. Morten has the voice of a thousand angels. My fave member of A-HA s Pal the guitarist and main songwriter but the three of them together makes a rather powerful sound musically and vocally. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the track and i look forward to hearing what you think of it. I hope you’ll react to more of A-HA the have an impressive back catalogue of quality music. A-ha is an amazing band, and they are big all over Europe, and not least in Brazil. As a Brazilian, you can't be familiar with not knowing the band better. Several major international artists say that a-ha has been a great inspiration for them, such as Keane, Oasis, Adam Clayton from U2 and Kanye West. Chris Martin from Coldplay says that without a-ha there would never have been any Coldplay either. U2 shamelessly "borrowed" from a-ha's The sun always shines on TV in their "Beautiful Day". The inspiration between those artists has gone both ways, so it's no wonder the music has similarities.

The best voice and band ever in my opinion. By the way a-ha influenced many bands like U2, Coldplay, Kean...The part " touch me.." in the song "A Beautiful Day" by U2 is from "The Sun Always Shines On Tv" by a-ha, it's kind a tribute to a-ha by U2
