It's the Austrian Alps I believe...they were in Europe on tour, saw this location and called their production company to fly out there and shoot the video...All of HF videos are simple and on point. There is a video of them singing this at a concert that was rained out...they were under an overhang and wanted to not leave the fans go with nothing, so they sang this totally with no mics or anything...and it sounded just as amazing.

Debbie, this is a song by Home Free I listen to each & every morning before I get out of bed....I lost my wife to cancer a number of years ago and I just feel her presence when I play this song. I think this is one of the best versions of this song. Tim's bass really carries the song. I found Home Free 2 years ago & love these 5 talented guys. Their harmonies are the best in the business. This is one of the few songs where you get to hear Adam Rupp's (beatboxer) sweet tenor voice during "It Is Well". And the scenery is awesome filmed in the beautiful Austrian Alps (my dad came from that area).

This song is everything to me! My sweet Moma struggled in her last days, and this song, this version, was the only thing that kept her calm. We played it on a loop, so to say. She passed on March 23, 2020, Covid, so we could not have a proper celebration of her beautiful 90 years of life and influence! We literally played this on a boombox, for the ones “allowed” to attend, at her graveside. Yeah, that’s why I’m here…😢❤

Home Free are always a treat to hear...those harmonies are so good! You're right about their choice of location for their video...such a beautiful landscape! If you ever get to that Eivor video I suggested a while back, you'll appreciate the beauty of the location for her video as well. Yup, the song at the end is My Church. Home Free had a show (and forgive me, I don't remember where it was) that got canceled due to weather. They sang this under a canopy/tent for those in attendance as a thank you for coming out (there was no power so the full show was canceled). It was recorded on someones cell phone. They sang it totally unplugged. What an amazing group of performers.

They do these religious song but they do all kind of other stuff. Some (quiet a few) of their sings are hilarious. They do originals and covers. They do collaborations with really famous old guard groups like Alabama and Oak Ridge Boys and a FANTASTIC one with Kenny Roger's Year or two before he passed. They did Americam Pie with Original singer Don McLean. They did God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood. They've been on The Grand Old Opry more than half a dozen times. And most of us have huge crushes on at least one of them. MY crush is the bass Tim Foust. 🥰🥰🥰 They have more than 200 videos so don't worry about running out. You're in for a wonderful ride with these very sweet and humble men. Four of them are married, two have children and Austin and Amberly might as well be married. They've lived together for almost 3 years. They have their wives in many of their videos.. The group is performing in Australia right now. They will just always make the world feel better.

When we are confronted by such beautiful singing, it is exceptionally hard to make any original observations. Meaning that all of the reactors sound like they're in an echo chamber, and as a consequence, I don't have much to say about any of them. I have a good share of the YT reactions to this cover in a playlist. What I find interesting is how different the reactions of people of faith are from the reactions of everyone else. Hey Debbie, If you listen closely, we get the rare treat of Adam Rupp's, the beat boxer, Beautiful Alto voice. Adam is responsible for all the very high notes in the harmonies. We very rarely get to hear Adam singing. It was shot and recorded in the Austrian Alps during their European tour.
