This era of Champ Car was amazing. Used to stay up late night in the uk to watch Mark Blundell in the motorola car in the late 90s. Finally realised a boyhood dream in 2002 when i marshalled at the long beach GP and we had the Rockingham 500 in the UK. Incredible cars and fond memories.

God I miss Champcar. Those BIG V8 turbos and beautiful Lola chassis. I love indycar now but these cars were much better than the current generation of indycars.

Not really. Many of the track records have been beaten by today's Indy Car.
