This is China's first large-scale stand-alone game. The game was announced in 2019 but has not been completed until now. The background of the game is the Monkey King in Journey to the West, one of the four great Chinese classics. I had a good experience on PS5. It's a pity that I didn't see the background of the story, otherwise I could fly freely. I hope everyone like it.

HERE is another important tip to add. No one seems to be mentioning this so far. There is a side quest that is easily missable in chapter 3 that’s very useful. After getting off the giant turtle, run along the coastline until you see an electric dragon mini boss. After defeating him, he will complain about his “immortal” body. Go back to the cellar shrine in chapter 2. Talk to the NPC that gives you stat upgrades. Remember to choose the “talk” option only and then he will give you a key item. Give this key item back to the dragon NPC in chapter 3. This will unlock a new secret area. In this area, all the NPCs you visit for upgrades will be here. No need to run to multiple areas now. You can access this area anytime in the inventory menu. You also unlock the blacksmith NPC for new crafting but most importantly you can upgrade old gear with bonuses that you like. Very useful early on!

This game has reached sales of 10m worldwide in just 3 days of release!! What a feat to achieve for such a young studio. Had they been able to manufacture and sell more of the physical deluxe edition with the wukong figure, the sales could ve gone even higher!

well, i think it's a very wonderful game especially considering it from a small and young studio, however, if its creators is from other country, i think i wouldn't buy it, as ARPG is tooooo difficult for me. Brad is level 44 in this chapter, but i was 54 in chaper 2 and still struggle with the final boss. Its the first and maybe the last soulslike ARPG for many of us

Hey Brad, the fishing statue 51:35 is one of the 4 hidden loong boss fights, that you need to start at Chapter 2 by breaking a hidden wall near the first prince of the flowing sand boss (big fat rat) with a blue baby headbutt. The drink item 1:12:05 can be switched at any keeper shrine.

Little tip for you Brad. You can use your immobilize spell whenever the boss is trying to do a critical attack or their signature attack or whatever. I think that way you can get the most out of the spell rather than using it in the beginning.

There are hidden bosses to be able to upgrade the other path for the weapon, it is mainly for PILLAR stances. The one you use, so it's recommended you complete those bosses.

I'm watching these videos, and I've come to the realization that I'm the crazy gamer. Brad is a level 41 at the start of this video. I power leveled to a 41 and then fought the WhiteClad Noble and the other bosses in chapter 1.
