@@Tttb95 what I am saying is that once the prices raise due to inflation they usually do not go back down in the US. Great example inflation in the 70s. Yes it finally stopped but cars, houses, commodities never returned to pre inflation prices. I know of a few other economies around the world that I could cite here. Singapore is a great example of how things should be run. However we are discussing the US. Look back in our countries history at inflation. The numbers dont just go back down. It eventually stops but what is going on now is going to have effects that wont be seen for 5-10 years. This is only the beginning. There's homeless tents popping up in the affluent suburbs. That stuff used to stay in the city. Most of us aren't worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Wages have not gone up here, but the prices have gone up anyway, which is always their excuse of why they can't raise wages. How long do they expect average working people to afford things? We are seeing how minimalist and thrifty we can be, and always trying to spend less.
