I think Leo's uncomfortable conversation with Hannah was really because he wanted to be the one choosing who he'd propose to... he wanted to have the upper hand, or options to choose from. And Hannah choosing Nick D over him really left him with no one other than Brittany, basically narrowing his potential fiancee' to only one person, which is Brittany. So hence him going into panic, I really think it's panic because, like we observed, he was realizing that his strategy of really reeling both these women, was not working anymore. So really, in that moment of Hannah trying to break up with him and reasoning as to why, he thereby makes her doubt her decision, and I think he was emotionally blackmailing her, painting a picture of her breaking his heart, not making the right choice... as if he was anymore decisive and sure of who he loves and wants to propose to. Steph, at the end of the day, this was my observation, I could be wrong or something...

@AD-lg4vl3 ай бұрын
totally agree. Thought I'd be surprised if he gets women in the real world, even if he is rich - I feel like that's why he came on the show. He has no personality outside his money and job, and is not attractive, so this was a bet to just flaunt his money, use his sales, and not have them see him. I honestly would believe he gets shut down a lot.
@dahliaherrod43012 ай бұрын
He got everything he wanted until all of his family died. We can't overlook how that amount of loss will change a person.
@AD-lg4vl2 ай бұрын
@@dahliaherrod4301 I initially believed this, because I would believe this would significantly change a person. But he just seems so unphased by it. He talks about it so nonchalantly, and in any situation it's brought up he shows no emotion. It's possible it could have stunted him and his personality - so he's completely emotionally blocked off - but from him I honestly get the impression that he's always been that way and because of his money. Have you met extremely wealthy people (not just wealthy, but extremely wealthy) because there's a reason there's a TV trope about them. They act like they're above everyone and very "hoity toity," because everything has a price and can be purchased for them - even people (i.e. buy friendships or fake love). And that's why he treats people like a sale - and over exaggerates all that he has, that's what those overly wealthy (but not famous) do.

Leo's inability to bond or relate to both groups (men and women) without the constant mentioning of money and flaunting his family wealth ran stale and quite immature. @@kierradoerksen7363 I think you're being hyper critical the way Hannah was. Being immature is not enough of a reason to. be constantly berated and put down like that. And morgan makes a good point, he probably didn't want to mess up and disappoint her, as she always made him feel stupid and less than that he couldn't do anything right. He probably knew how, but even if he didn't, she could have responded in a million different ways like "Google it" or "Just try, I trust you." Any number of responses would have been better. He had a kind heart, and that > boiling pasta/fiances any day. He had a good family, and was a good person, which is far more than I can say for Hannah. I really like Brittney. She was honest which was refreshing and so sweet- usually with these love triangles you see the girls hating eachother or one badmouthing the other etc, but when she was talking about her insecurity she went on to say hannah and the other girls were all beautiful and amazing (or something to the effect of), which i really didn’t expect. Leo was a manipulator and it was gross to see how he treated both girls but especially hannah when she said she wanted to go further with nick and not him.
@onedirectionlover3173 ай бұрын
Yeah, there's definitely a lot to admire and appreciate about her as a person (in terms of how she treats others) even if I don't agree with what she expects in a relationship or like the way she seems to lean into "not having brains". Especially since it seems she does have passions and interests like the beach cleanup stuff, it would be nice to see her lean into that (you don't have to be book smart to be valuable or admirable, but I wish she'd leaned into characteristics of more substance, ESPECIALLY on a show like this). All that being said, you're right that she was definitely kind and came off as a GOOD person insofar as how she treated others, which unfortunately cannot be said for everyone.

@@onedirectionlover317 tbh i didn’t really see her pretend to act stupid. the only thing i could think of (but i don’t really remember much of what she said 💀) was her saying that she wanted to be a trophy wife and how that would come across as shallow/ditzy. & her valley girl accent, that just always makes people from across as ditzy imo.

I hope this doesn’t sound cruel, but I liked Brittany more when she was emotional or upset… I think it’s because that’s when her walls were the most down and she was the most authentic ??? Idk, she acts like she’s not intelligent but she actually seems very emotionally intelligent and expressive, but perhaps guarded? She could join my friend group, hehe.
@steffnic133 ай бұрын
She started out with an edit of being shallow and gold digging, and then they flipped the script and she was then the one with depth and introspection, as well as a strong sense of self (like when she said it’s not just his decision and she has a say also in if he’s what she wants). She also had a lot of emotional intelligence and maturity. And I think she was legit when she said she could have married for money if she wanted to. I feel like the people I liked at first became worse and vice versa.
