Top 10 Most Wanted DEATH BATTLE Episodes

Yeah, turns out I never actually made this before. Who knew. While I've discussed a LOT of matchups before, it's finally time for me to stack em on top of each other and list which ones are my favorites. This is subject to change, obviously, but either way you can bet that I'm that a big fan of these ideas. I don’t really have a top 10 most wanted, but I do have a bunch of ones I really want The Monster vs Freddy Fazbear-(Frankenstein vs Five Nights at Freddy’s) The Birds vs The Plants-(Angry Birds vs PVZ) Freddy Krueger vs Pennywise-(Elm Street vs IT) Henry Stickmin vs The Second Coming-(……vs AVA) Angry Video Game Nerd vs Nostalgia Critic I don’t really think any of these will happen(expect for Freddy vs Penny), but they would really be cool

You definitely could make one full sized fight with just Henry and second coming in an episode. I personally prefer throwing red and fancy pants man in there and making it stick figure battle royal just to make the fight more of a strong 3 sided debate, instead of just 2… kind of…

Honestly, I think Freddy vs The Monster has a decent chance to happen, Freddy/FnaF and Frankenstein are well known names so views wouldn'tbe an issue. If they decide to look into FnaF/Horror matchups, that one might peak their interest.

Might aswell share all of my most wanted Death Battles Mysterio vs Scarecrow- animation potential is great, perfect for a Halloween episode, 2D Spawn vs Ghost Rider - 2 men forced into a contract with Devil like figure, fight potential is also cool, 2D Kratos vs Asura- fan of both series, seeing these 2 finally clash would be awesome, 3D Dante vs Doomslayer- just like like the match above, seeing their weapons interact would be badass and the soundtrack here would especially be kickass, 3D Luffy vs Naruto- One Piece is one of my favorite series so seeing Luffy finally get his requested MU happen would be cool, 2D Homer vs Peter- fun and dumb, 2D or Hand Drawn Escanor vs Whitebeard- Escanor is my favorite 7DS character and Whitebeard is in my top 10 for OP. I heard it's close, so that's a bonus, 2D Hulk vs Godzilla- Immortal Hulk is one of my favorite comic book runs ever and I've been a fan of Godzilla since forever, animation potential is insane and it's actually debatable depending on how you interpret Godzilla In Hell, 3D Zeus vs Odin (Myth)- been a fan of mythology for a long time, the analysis, character interactions, and abilities would also be awesome to see, 2D Wolf vs Scorpion- Sekiro is one of my favorite games ever and Scorpion is my favorite MK character, seeing these badass ninjas fight makes me giddy, 3D Gru vs Megamind- too much fun to not include, Megamind is also one of my favorite animated films, 2D maybe 3D Kyle vs Simon- animation potential, interested in both characters, plus Will of the Drill, how can you not like this? 2D Galactus vs Unicron- been waiting forever for this, just like Kyle vs Simon, 3D. (DONE) Goku vs Superman 3- this would be more for a celebration of the series, essentially a remake of the first fight to celebrate how far the series has come, 3D but it would be awesome if both characters broke reality through their fight and we see them in 2D and handrawn. (DONE) Giorno vs Joker- interested in both series and characters specifically, i don't have a preference so i couldn't care less on who wins, 2D Iris vs Destroyah- I'm a Kaiju fan so being able to have a spiritual succesor to Godzilla vs Gamera would be awesome, 3D Nixon vs Manhattan- crackpipe i know but seeing the analysis of both characters and the way they would interact as 2 men who are now Gods and their view on humanity has the potential to make a great episode, 3D Denji vs Yuji- Now that Makima vs Gojo is done i want to see more of both these series that I'm curious about and have put off reading for the longest time, 2D Bugs vs Mickey- after Courage vs Scoob i can't wait to see more toon fights, the animation potential is only limited by the imagination and the character interactions would be gold, Hand Drawn Archie Knuckles vs Juggernaut- mostly just out of curiosity, 2D maybe 3D i don't have a preference Valentine vs Armstrong- interested in Jojo and MGRR is one of my favorite games ever, 3D Superman vs Optimus- both characters are some of my favorite of all time with the way they personify altruism and what it means to be a hero. It's also close, so that's great too, 3D Bardock vs Omni Man- love Invincible and Dragon Ball, its close (from what I've heard), the analysis would also be great to see especially on Nolan for a more in-depth version, 3D but 2D also works Homelander vs Tighten- 2 glorified man babies with the powers of Gods, just the way they would interact sells me on this, 2D Mordecai and Rigby vs Finn and Jake- Regular Show is my favorite show of all time, seeing it be covered on the series would be awesome, 2D Emmet vs Steve- the Lego Movie is also one of my favorite animated films ever and seeing a fellow nostalgic series in Minecraft be covered would also be a treat, animation potential would also be awesome, 3D Boros vs Battle Beast- OPM is my favoite anime ever and Invincible is one of my favorite superhero series aswell, seeing both characters interact when they finally have the fight they've been dreaming of would be amazing, 2D Shigaraki vs Tetsuo- i like MHA and after Magneto vs Tetsuo I've been wanting to see Tetsuo covered again in a closer match up, seeing their powers interact would also be cool, 2D Honorable mentions: Wolverine vs Michaelangelo (Old Man Logan and Last Ronin), Wil E. Coyote vs Tom, Ori vs Hollow Knight, and Bowser vs Egg Man.

If they ever do Mickey vs. Bugs, they need to get the animator that worked on the Bendy vs. Cuphead DBX to animate for it. That’s definitely one of the best animations in death battle history

Instead of Deathstroke vs Taskmaster, I would love to see Joker vs Green Goblin. These two are the archenemies to DC and Marvel's iconic heroes, I love these two maniacal grinners to death and it would be amazing to see this fight as a Halloween match up.

Green Goblin is way physically stronger, and with the Glider he also has a big speed and agility advantage over Joker.

Those are some fun takes! I may have already heard about them some time ago, but it's always nice to hear how much potential those matchups have as well as your personal investment. I don't know if it means anything to you, but i have some ideas for matchups i've never heard people talk about (the connections of those may be debatable or loose, idk, i don't remember everything, i just want to give you some ideas and maybe inspiration): - Matoro VS Stormer OR - Tahu VS Furno (Bionicle VS Hero Factory) - Warmachine VS Ironhide (Marvel VS Transformers) - Jiraya VS Netero (Naruto VS Hunter X Hunter) - Fall Guys VS Gang Beasts ((as opposed to VS Among Us)) - .... I completely agree with all of these match-ups, it has the potential of being a very good Death Battle episodes with a lot of memorable moments. Taskmaster VS Deathstroke and Stitch VS Rocket may not be the match-up that I wanted to see back then but I have grown to liking it, so yeah I'll be excited if they will do it. As for my top 10 1. I knew you've wanted Stitch vs Rocket for a long while, but I genuinely didn't know it meant so much to you. I haven't found an MU like that for myself, just ones I think would make good fights, so it makes me glad to see stuff like that. It's basically your Blake vs Mikasa or Destoroyah vs Iris. And as far as matchups to be invested in goes, I think you picked a pretty good one. It has surface level connections for the normies, as well as a real core theme to hold it together. I have to admit, I was only moderately on-board before, but Guardians 3 really made it come through. I literally left the theatre thinking about the movie, and when this Mu crossed my mind in passing, it all just came together.

Stitch vs. Rocket Raccoon is legit in my Top 10 most wanted now almost purely because of how much you've hyped it up for me, The Rappter. So no, you're not alone, don't worry! 😆 My Top 10 would probably look something like this (in vaguely descending order, and assuming no returners): 1. Kat (Gravity Rush) vs. Shiki Granbell (Edens Zero). Legitimately my most wanted Death Battle matchup right now. This is *the one* for me. 2. Ori (Ori and the Blind Forest/Will of the Wisps) vs. The Knight (Hollow Knight). I love both series, and this is my most wanted video game fight. 3. Black Cat (Marvel) vs. Catwoman (DC). Yeah I know, not everyone digs this but Black Cat is my favorite female Marvel character ever, and Catwoman's cool too. My most wanted Marvel vs. DC fight. 4. Dexter (Dexter's Laboratory) vs. Jimmy Neutron (The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron). Two shows from my childhood and my most wanted cartoon fight. 5. Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece) vs. Plastic Man (DC). What can I say, One Piece is my favorite manga of all time; Luffy *has* to get into a Death Battle! 6. Stitch (Lilo & Stitch) vs. Rocket Raccoon (Marvel). DAMN YOU, THE RAPPTER! 7. Devilman (Devilman) vs. Etrigan (DC). Other than Ghost Rider vs. Spawn, this is my most wanted demon fight. 8. Joker (Persona 5) vs. Giorno Giovanna (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure). What can I say, P5 is my second favorite video game of all time; Joker *has* to get into a Death Battle! 9. Emperor Palpatine (Star Wars) vs. Master Xehanort (Kingdom Hearts). What can I say, KH is my second favorite video game franchise of all time; this is my most wanted villain fight. 10. Mokujin (Tekken) vs. Sudowoodo (Pokémon). What can I say, Pokémon is my favorite video game franchise of all time; this is my most wanted gag fight (and a *very* out there one, I know!)

These are some fantastic picks for fights, and some of them I also have on my wishlist for fights I want to see. (Stitch vs Rocket, Bowser vs Eggman, & Simon vs Kyle are among them). I tend to lean more toward Daffy vs Donald over Bugs vs Mickey since i feel like they're easier to imagine fighting each other for whatever reason but Bugs vs Mickey does sound great. Bowser vs. Eggman and Han vs. Kirk seem inevitable; if a fight gets on DB Cast its chances of getting on the show simply skyrocket. Same goes for Gru vs. Megamind

I think if they ever do Mickey vs Bugs they're obviously going to make Bugs the instigator and the reason why the fight started since he is famously known for being a troll and has caused trouble in many of his cartoons

I really dislike Bowser vs eggman I don't see the connections besides the legacy and we have 4 Mario vs sonic legacy matchups the only other connection they have is the most iconic videogame bosses wich okay then I guess Goku and Naruto should fight since there the most iconic anime characters but if you like it that's fine

I have a Horror List TBH. Featuring at least 1 horror character. Pennywise VS Freddy Krueger. Mr. X VS T-1000 Predator VS Arbiter (Should've done this over Predator VS Boba Fett tbh) Pyramid Head VS The Keeper (Silent Hill VS Evil Within) SCP-682 VS Doomsday Jigsaw VS The Riddler(I think this'd be a good one because of the idea of if Riddler could get through his Trials. ) I'll edit if I think of any more !

If I had to bring some ideas for matchups, these are my favorite two: 1) Usagi Tsukino vs. Bloom (Sailor Moon vs. Winx Club): a battle of Japan vs. Europe, between two leaders of very famous female sentai. Not a bad list, Rappter. I'd actually love to see some of these fights, even some from your honorable mentions. I've come up with so many Death Battle ideas over the years I've lost count, but I think I have a Top 10 narrowed down. Not exactly in any particular order, but I'll try. 10. Chrom VS Jonathon Joestar (Fire Emblem VS Jojo's Bizarre Adventure). Two kind-hearted gentlemanly swordsman who cut down all enemies, demonic or otherwise, to save the day. 9. Diddy Kong VS Bowser Jr. (Donkey Kong VS Mario). Two sidekicks from either side duking it out to see which of Nintendo's biggest idiots has the best supporting Player 2. 8. Nathan Drake VS Frank West (Uncharted VS Dead Rising). Two badass achievers of the impossible who kick ass and take names through improvising and adapting. 7. Blaze VS Panther (Sonic VS Persona). Two fiery cat girls. That's all I got, that pretty much sums them up. 6. John Wick VS Yor Forger (John Wick VS Spy X Family). Two of media's most memorable assassins, Baba Yaga and Thorn Princess, go head-to-head to take out their toughest targets yet - each other. I know this sounds like a joke fight, and is probably stupid, but I think it can work. 5. Espio VS Greninja (Sega VS Nintendo). Two purple, reptilian/amphibious ninjas. Again, pretty much sums them up. 4. Weiss VS Lucina (RWBY VS Fire Emblem). Two sword-swinging heiresses who rise above their inner demons and overcome any challenge to protect their loved ones. Also, Lucina's my favorite Fire Emblem character ever, so I just REALLY want her to get a fight. 3. Raven VS Vergil (DC VS Devil May Cry). Two extremely powerful half-demons who seek to overcome their demonic fathers and all creatures of the Underworld in pursuit of justice and/or power. 2. Sorey VS Velvet (Zestiria VS Berseria). Two Tales protagonists from the same universe, one from the future (Sorey) and the other from the past (Velvet), face off to prove who is the better protagonist and answer the question: the Shepherd or the Lord of Calamity - which is superior? 1. Bowser VS Eggman (Nintendo VS Sega). Their rivalry is legendary, their fame unmatched. We've seen the heroes and sidekicks end the debate once and for all. Now it's the villains' turn in a final-boss-style fight to the death. I've wanted this fight ever since the first Mario VS Sonic and is by far my most-wanted fight. I NEED TO SEE THIS!!! And, as an added bonus, I'll throw in one that's more of an actual joke fight: Alex VS Boog (Madagascar VS Open Season). Two dancing animals that are the main characters from two of my favorite kids' movies. This one would just make me laugh so hard, especially when picturing the animation.

Ritsuka Fujimura (Fate/Grand Order vs Kiran (Fire Emblem Heroes) Two avatar characters from mobile spinoff titles that are among the most recognizable gacha games of all time utilise the ability to summon other heroes from other worlds. I haven't played FGO, but from what I remember, it scales similarly to FEH being at multiversal, I think. So it'd probably go down to how well Ritsuka and Kiran's wide array of heroes can counter each other.

The two main MUs i really wanna see are both Touhou related- Reimu Hakurei vs Sailor Moon, and Cirno vs Trixie Lulamoon The first one is just OP shrine maidens fighting it out, and the second one has so much banter potential between them As for who wins for both? An impressive list of solid and very hype matchups ! It's very rare to find a Top most wanted where I can get behind every single entry, they're all so cool ! I've made a TOP 25 most wanted matchups on my list, but here are my 10 again anyways : 10. Street Sharks VS Extreme Dinosaurs : These two teams of TMNT rip-offs are pure highly concentrated 90s GOLD are both forever my go-to when I want to look for old cheap cartoon charm, with their ridiculous strength allowing them to chomp through anything, their stupid plot-convenient gadgets, their love for totally-not-pizza fast food and one liners such as "Jawesome" of "let's fossilize'em !" make me giddy every freaking time. It's one of the few matchups where I EXPECT the animation to be bad and the dialogues to be stupid as all hell and it would WORK ! 9.Duck Dodgers VS Duck Avengers (Daffy Duck VS Donald Duck) : I know you and practically the entire internet are D Y I N G for Bugs VS Mickey and Daffy VS Donald, but I just hope DB considers tackling the super hero alter egos of the most iconic waterfowls of animation first. I basically grew up with the Duck Dodgers cartoons and PK's comics back in the day so not only it would be nice to have this match just to have a more grounded (or as grounded as it can be at least...) version of this insane debate that is Looney Tunes VS Disney in general, but it would mean so much that they get to talk about specific versions that I love probably more than the original characters that "play" them. 8.Shantae VS Sovel Knight : Come one ! It's the Indie matchup of the century ! Indie castlevania adventurers finding treasures and smiting evil with very uncommon weapons ! Shantae's been a good chunk of my teenagehood ever since I heard about her being requested for Smash bros and have wanted her to be represented in any crossover ever since ! It's just a charming match ! 7. Po VS Chen Stormstout (Kung Fu Panda VS World of Warcraft) : Guess who didn't get their present on Christmas eve some years ago... Maybe it's because I'm a huge WOW sucker, but I just love the connexion for these two. Sure there's the "Panda that do Kung fu" on the surface that already makes it fun for me, but then you look deeper into both and you find genuine similarities in their way of fighting, their journey and even their personnalities that I would KILL to see interact with each other even for a second ! It's got the potential to be the most "bromance" Death Battle we've ever seen since Might Might. 6. Darth Vader VS The Lich King (Star Wars VS World of Warcraft... Again.) Did I mention I like WoW ? I like WoW. And I also just love the histories of fallen heroes. And these two dark lords are the creme de la creme when it comes to unleash the very evil they once swore to destroy. Plus, given their loser status in DB, it would be an incredible honor to get one final match of redemption for one of these two. I know Arthas was in DB last season, but damn does he need a comeback just as much as Vader does ! 5. Dingodile VS Pyro (Crash Bandicoot VS Team Fortress 2) : Flamethrowers. From Australia. That's it. That's the matchup. And I fucking love it. Honestly, this matchup is all the way up there because it's the best option for one of my favourite video game villain, Dingodile, and who doesn't like a good flamethrower match, right ? But they also got waaayyy more arsenal than you'd think at first glance, making this interesting to see how they kind of counter each other ! 4. Sly VS Rouge (Sly Cooper VS Sonic the Hedgehog) : I shall curse the name of whatever sorcerer brainwashed people into thinking LUPIN the 3rd grader was a "BeTtEr OpPoNeNt". Sorry, I'm mean, but people have been acting so blind to this matchup since DB suggested this idea when Sly VS Rouge has been sitting and being requested for years with a good number of passionate people to want this. Sly and Rouge's... Everything blend so much better in my eyes. Sure, I might be a little biased since Sly is THE favourite character of a best friend of mine and Rouge is one of my favourite Sonic character, but I just can't see what made people just... Instantly forget about this matchup ! 3. 2. 1. Lizardman/Aeon VS Reptile (SoulCalibur VS Mortal Kombat) ; Robotboy VS Jenny Wakeman (Cartoon Network VS Nickelodeon) ; Thrall VS Ghazhgkull Thraka (World of Warcraft VS Warhammer 40k) That's right. all 3 are technically my number 1 and constantly shift sides depending on my mood and I can't for the life of me rank them properly. Reptile is one of my favourite MK character and Aeon/Lizardman is my favourite fighting game character EVER ! With a story that made me go "oh, poor guys... :'(" for the first time. They are a not given a great time in terms of representation in media and they are even less fortunate in their own lore. It's basically a Sabrewulf VS Jon Talbain 2 with extra scale and madness ! Robotboy was a cartoon I used to watch as a kid and looking for Death Battle matchup for this little guy is what made me discover and fall in love with My Life as a Teenage Robot. This matchup is a combination of my childhood, my teenage days and what makes me a Death Battle fan ! Not to mention the matchup itself is potentially fun as hell ! It's two blue cartoon robots with ACME levels of arsenal and a youthful attitude ! It's just cool. And finally, the world of Warcraft and Warhammer 40k are some of my favourite... THINGS, alongside maybe Pokémon, Sonic and Death Battle itself. And these two are THE most powerful representant of my favourite things of my already favourite things : the greatest leader of the Horde VS the greatest leader of the WAAAGH!!! And come on, it's an Orc shaman who can command the elements themselves VS a giant Ork in a powersuit who can rewrite logic itself by believing hard enough that he's better than anyone. The animation potential is DAWTING ! And there you go, sorry for the fucking WALL of text, but I wanted to share my most wanted ideas as well as you did yours.

Hell yeah (pun intended) would like this to be mid-season fight cause Dante was a season premiere while Vergil was a season finale, I'd think it would be neat 9. Kinda surprised this hasn't happened yet, one of the last big legacy fights they haven't done yet 8. Would like to see Deathstroke make a comeback, so this works out 7. Its two living planets going at it... I don't think I need to say more 8. Jimmy vs Dexter- like I said, more of a Jimter than a megagru guy. But both have the potential to be fun and creative 7. Roy vs Zuko- wanted this one for the longest time, long before My Hero even existed. Hopefully the flame for this fight hasn't died out yet and be an actual episode someday 6. The Undertaker vs Itachi- aside from the connections, the vibes, and animation potential this fight could bring. It's just my childhood vs my teenagehood duking it out while my adult is sitting back and eating skittles as the mayhem unfolds 5. Raphael vs Inosuke- really hope this happens over Bakugo vs Inosuke, since I think these two would clash and banter better than the former 4. E-102 Gamma vs E-52 Bastion- I see people pit Gamma and Bastion against Android 16 and Aganos from KI, but I would like a fight where Bastion and Gamma don't get folded and compacted like those garbage cubes from Monsters Inc. Plus I think these two would clash better with both being gun welder. This one also has the potential to be the most emotional fight on this list if they do it right like with Magneto vs Tetsuo and Spongebob vs Aquaman. 3. Pit vs Zagreus - I blame Skye's song on this fight that made me not only fall in love with the matchup, but made me want to play Hades as well. After playing it, it makes me want this to happen more. The banter alone could make this fight. Seriously, if it weren't for some Greek gods showing up in both series, you could've told me that they both live in the same universe and I wouldn't have bat an eye 2. Marx vs Kefka- another case where music sold me on a matchup (Thanks Brandon!) That it made me go out and play both games, finished Super Star Ultra and enjoyed it, and currently playing FF6 (along with 3 other games) that has sold me harder than the previous entry and makes me hope the DB crew have more plans with Final Fantasy that isn't 7. 1. Hulk vs Asura- my dream fight. My first ever matchup I've ever thought of for this show. My favorite superhero vs one of my top 3 favorite video game characters. The matchup I've been holding on to for 10 years at this point. Do both have thematically better opponents? Yeah. Is it just two rage shit-brick houses punching each other? Yeah. Is it ever going to happen? Most likely not, in either Death Battle or Marvel vs Capcom. But both characters mean alot to me and still think this matchup can go hard and I will gladly be the only one to die on this hill. These are some really good fights you suggested and could be really interesting. However, there is a fight I would love to see Death Battle do and that is Raven versus Jean Grey. Can the most powerful mutant defeat the daughter of Trigon? Can the most powerful Psychic defeat the most powerful Empath? This is a fight I’ve always been fascinated with and have always wondered who would take the win. I’ve done a little research into it and the consensus as to who would win is actually kind of split. This fight could also be really fun to see animated.

You know, I haven't really thought of a Top 10 Death Battles but I've recently gotten myself into more Star Wars content and just revisited Avatar, and I'm surprised the two franchisees have yet to have a Death Battle anytime soon. I have thought of some match-ups that have themes to them, but a lot of them aren't likely to happen from my understanding, probably better as a Commissioned Soundtrack from Brandon or Therewolf honestly. Nice video Rappter! My personal list would probably be: 10. Bill Cipher VS Discord (Gravity Falls VS My Little Pony); Self-explanatory as to why I want this MU objectively. It has amazing banter and animation potential, and I think the music could be a bop. Don't have much of a connection with Discord as a character, but he's pretty cool from what I've seen; Bill is like, my favorite Disney villain ever lol. Only reason it isn't higher is because it's already confirmed to happen this season. 9. Sonic.EXE VS RED (Sonic.exe VS NES Godzilla); The creepypasta fandom is one which I practically grew up in. I was a horror kid, and these things tickled my fancy a lot. So, I have to represent it somehow, even if the likelihood of them appearing on DB proper is slim. The Godzilla series holds a special place in my heart, as it was the first fictional franchise I was ever a *massive* fan of, and Sonic likewise holds a special place in my heart for similar reasons later. RED is one of my favorite creepypasta villains, and the concept of Sonic.EXE is very interesting (even if it's not handled the best most of the time lol), banter and animation potential is nice. So yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing this. 8. Doomsday VS SCP-682 (DC VS SCP Foundation); Yet another big MU for the internet horror scene, and this time against a DC character! Yeah, I don't think I have to explain why I want this one either. It's just a no-brainer for quite a few people. And to those who say SCP can't work in Death Battle because of how contradictory it is powerscaling-wise, just look at Marvel or DC. 🗿 7. Bowser VS Eggman (Nintendo VS SEGA); Mario and Sonic practically molded a grand majority of my childhood in the gaming scene. This is the big Mario VS Sonic fight that hasn't happened yet, so it has to be repped here. Here's hoping that it happens this season! 6. Akuto Sai VS Anos Voldigoad (Demon King Daimao VS Misfit of Demon King Academy); The first "oddball" pick of this list I would say. While DKD on its own is nowhere near mainstream status, I think Akuto's popularity in the VS community and Anos being somewhat popular in general could make this decently possible if DB is made aware of this MU's existence. Akuto is one of my favorite anime protagonists of all time, genuinely very underrated in terms of his personality and character arc, and while I'm personally not the biggest fan of Anos, it's probably Akuto's best in terms of connections and debate potential. Plus, he's one of my best friend's favorite characters, so might as well rep him here. 5. Galactus VS Unicron (Marvel VS Transformers); Literally just everything you said in your video, lol. Transformers is one of the big franchises I think needs more episodes, and this is obviously the first pick everyone goes to. 4. Flowey VS Monika (Undertale VS Doki Doki Literature Club); This one was a no-brainer as well, at least for me personally. Undertale and DDLC have impacted me a lot through my teenage years, and both resonate with me on an emotional level that's *almost* unparalleled by any fiction ever (you'll see what I mean by almost in a bit). And, I think it's about time these two titans of indie gaming get represented on DB. While there is a case to be made for Monika not working in the setting of DB due to her usual non-combat-oriented gameplay, I still say fuck it lol. These two characters hit really close to home in the emotional department. 3. Simon the Digger VS Kyle Rayner (Gurren Lagann VS DC Comics); Champions of will. Never giving up, even though the challenges you're facing are literal GODS. No other words needed. This just needs to happen. 2. Gilgamesh VS Sinbad (Fate VS Magi); Fate is a series I've wanted on Death Battle for god knows how long now. As my second favorite series ever, I think it needs to be represented justly (even if DB botches the scaling because complex cosmology go brrrr). And what better way than to match up the most powerful king against the most powerful king? Both Gilgamesh and Sinbad are highly respected in their communities, and are fan favorites for many. This is just one of those other fights that need to happen, at least in my opinion. While Gilgamesh does have other good options, like Dr. Doom for instance, this is the one I think would capture Gil's personality perfectly and also deliver on a great animation in the process. And finally, my most wanted matchup of all time... 1. Mandrakk VS Featherine (DC VS Umineko); Now, I know the reputation of this matchup is quite controversial among a lot of people, and some debate if it could even work in an animation to begin with. However, I think if they handle it correctly, seeing their powers messing with the plot on an Outerversal scale would be interesting. However, just good animation potential wouldn't be enough to get an episode to my most wanted. Similar to Rappter's reasonings for placing Rocket VS Stitch as his most wanted, the fact this MU isn't super popular in the VS scene makes me want it more. Remember how I said that Undertale and DDLC almost were the series that resonated with me emotionally the hardest? Well, the "almost" is because of Umineko, or I suppose you could just widen that to the When They Cry series as a whole. I was going through a lot when I read the series for the first time, things that I would prefer not to go into in a KZbin comment section. But WTC helped me emotionally, and gave me reason to keep going, taught me some valuable lessons as well. As someone who has Featherine as his favorite character *ever* and thinks Mandrakk is a neat as hell villain, this was bound to hit on a different level. I know some may disagree with me here, but just personally, this is definitely my most wanted MU.

Man, I got four awesome MUs that I constantly flip flop through on which one is my most wanted, so I'll just quickly talk about all of them in this comment. Loki Vs Rumpelstiltskin (Marvel Vs OUAT): Even though I don't have much of a connection to Once Upon A Time anymore, I still feel that quite a few of its characters would be awesome to see on Death Battle. However, I feel that The Dark One himself would be the most likely, and though I don't mind Loki Vs Kefka this is the MU I want to see for the God of Mischief. They're both individuals who essentially went from having nothing to their name to becoming powerful god like entities who, although they have good to them, their ambitions for power (or seemingly addiction in Rumpel's case), have been detrimental to them. This one could go either way depending on scaling and arsenal but I'd go with Rumpelstiltskin on this one. Homura Vs Kurumi (Madoka Magica Vs Date A Live): I can't recite all of their connections as I'm not too familiar with either series, but this MU is a pretty big rivalry one, with both characters having been compared to each other around the time both series were airing. Basics is that they're time travelling gunslingers with dark pasts constantly travelling through time to try to fix things, but there's of course so much more than what I can say about it. This one has even been hyped up in the Death Battle community with the recent release of the vocal version for Brandon Yates' commission track "Date With The Devil". As for winner, Homura o contest. Itachi Vs Akua (Naruto Vs Rosario + Vampire): Okay, this one is seriously underrated and I don't completely understand why. Itachi certainly needs to be on Death Battle, and he definitely has a few other MUs (including the one against Madoka Orimura from Infinite Stratos), but I personally adore this one. I've read all of the manga for R+V and would love to see it make an appearance on Death Battle, and Akua is my favourite character in that series. Plus, both of these two have some surprising connections (mainly being prodigal older siblings to main characters in their respective series who were supposedly evil only to be revealed to be double agents working for the good side the whole time), and their personalities and morally grey ideals would bounce off each other pretty well. This could also go either way, betting Itachi but I'd be rooting hard for Akua. Raiden Shogun Vs Raiden (Genshin Impact Vs Mortal Kombat): Last and certainly not least. Seriously, Genshin needs to be on Death Battle, plus Raiden needs to come back as he hasn't been seen on DB for years. They're both Gods of Lightning who protect their respective domains, have Japanese theming and have major flaws that they managed to bounce back from with help from others. Their series' music and animation styles would work pretty well together, and the banter would just be perfect. Plus depending on scaling it would be Genshin's first W.

Here's my list 10) Daniel Larusso vs Rocky Balboa. I grew up with both of these characters and are who I associate with as THE underdog characters. A well choreographed martial arts battle between Miyagi Do Karate and classic boxxing would be really awsome to see. I would want this to feel like their toughest battles yet. It's also shockingly debatable which is always fun to see. 9) Gilgamesh vs Achilles (The Epic of Girls vs The Illiad). I have been really into more classic literature recently and these two feel like a perfect fit with each other. Gilgamesh is one of my favorite characters ever and Homers epics are really fun as well. I think it could be the opposite of what Hercules vs Sun Wukong was. Instead of a fight between two guys where they don't exactly respect each other and the fight is more strategic, I would want this to be a respectful brawl where the two just beat eachother up. 8) Ness vs Frisk (Earthbound vs Undertale). Earthbound is straight up my favorite video game of all time and Undertale is what got me into gaming. I would want this to be THE strategy fight of my list. Both of them would prioritize dodging the others attacks while using their abilities to get a good hit in. I like the dynamics of Ness being a lot more powerful to the point of being able to almost one shot Frisk, but Frisk keeps coming back via save files and even starts to resist dying which leads to the climax. I also want Ness to be represented correctly in a vs animation for a change, alla Ness vs Red on Smash Bracket. I'm tired of his smash moveset. 7) Thomas The Tank Engine vs Lightning McQueen (Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends vs Cars). This a personal legacy fight to me and it's also a classic playground rivalry. Also given the shit Thomas has now via the reboots he actually works in a vs animation now, for better or for worse. I'd imagine the fight being simular to Joker vs Sweet tooth as a vehicle fight. 6) Sans vs The Judge (Undertale vs OFF). This is another personal legacy fight. Sans for awhile was my favorite character for a hot minute when I first played Undertale. OFF, while not as significant to me, is still a really fun game and Pablo is by far my favorite character. Him and Sans mesh so well with eachother. It could start off serious, then they get a little more silly with the banter, and then It becomes a philosophical debate in the climax. The fight dynamic mirrors how both are presented in game. 5) Steve vs Terrarian (Minecraft vs Terraria). This match is just really fun. I would like it to be Steve being the more tactical fighter while Terrarian just busts out a bunch of weapons. It's simple but sweet. These type of match ups are really underrated. 4) Captain America vs Kamen Rider Ichigo (Marvel vs Kamen Rider). A good old east vs west fight is always necessary. This one especially since they literally represent the countries they fight for. This is another martial arts battle but less grounded than what Daniel vs Rocky is. More like All Might vs Might Guy. I don't have a whole lit to say ablut it being that it's cool. Now we are in the big 3 of my favorite match ups of all time. They are in a league far above the previous 7. As in, I might shed a tear if any of them happened. 3) Walter White vs Light Yagami (Breaking Bad vs Death Note). The two postwr boys of crime thrillers an an extremely grounded fight for survival is genius. Breaking Bad is my favorite tv show and Light has inspired characters I have thought up. Most people want this to be an hour long soap opera but I don't wnat that. I think it works perfectly fine as a normal Death Battle. Both are known for having to find their way out of unworthy situations and seeing them in a straight up detah match would be perfectly in character. The animation would be a thrilling chace where Light is trying to gind out Walts name as Walt tries to land a killing blow to Light before he can write down his name. The climax could be something like Snake vs Sam where they know that the only way they will make it is by killing the other. Then the loser dies pathetically due to their own hubris. 2) Guts vs Clare (Berserk vs Claymore). I really want to put this in the no. 1 spot. Berserk is my favorite thing ever and Guts is my favorite character. It has changed my life and inspired multiple projects of mine. Claymore meanwhile basically mirrors how I saw Berserk since Claymore is heavily influenced by Berserk just as I am and is considering its little sister series by fans of both. Awakened Sacrifice is one of my favorite songs ever aswell. I love this match so much that it makes me downright loathe their alternatives. 1) Type 3 Kiryu and Akane vs Evangelion Unit 01 and Shinji (Toho vs Neon Genisis Evangelion). This has been my most wanted for a few years now. It just seems so perfect. Everything you could possibly want in a match up and more is present. Deep and specific connections that go over all 4 characters stories, a shit load of animation potential that perfectly matches how they fight in their series'. The series' used match each other perfectly. The character in quality are very important to me. They haven't really inspired me creatively but they have had a huge impact on my life. I could go on for hours gushing about the specifics of this match. I feel this will always be my most wanted until it happens eventually.

Because of how spread thin resources can be in Death Battle episodes, I think it'd be cool to have Bowser VS Dr.Eggman focus on the two characters, and then later on, have the Eggman Empire VS 'Koopa Kingdom'. We've never had an episode focus purely on an army fighting an army. Metal Sonic, Sage, and Infinite leading the Empire, against Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings leading their Kingdom.

Taskmaster is very difficult to put in a series like this because he is so strong yet so weak at the same time. Any character with similar or equal phisical/mental abilities will eventually get dunked by his prediction powers, and any character STRONG enough to not care about it will kill him since taskmaster is technically a standard human. It's a very odd 50/50 split in basically every matchup you can think of.

One sci-fi fight I would love to see is Fox McCloud from the Starfox games vs. Christopher/Chris "Maverick" Blair from the Wing Commander series basically it's a fight between two highly skilled starfighter pilots who are not only skilled aces but also tactical geniuses who are both not slouches when comes to H2H combat and using firearms, plus just imagine the spectacle of seeing a tense back-and-forth dogfight between the two of them with Fox piloting the Arwing, and Chris piloting either the Panther or the Wildcat. And as for a anime vs. anime fight I want to see that goes to Baki Hanma from the Baki Franchise vs. Ohma Tokita from the Kengan Franchise and this works for several reasons not only is there a healthy rivalry between the two martial arts-themed anime, but it's a battle between two of the most brutal mixed martial artist anti-heroes in anime, basically what I'm imagining for this fight is basically a brutal underground MMA fight between the two of them aka Baki vs. Ohma is Balrog vs. TJ Combo only a lot more violent, and a lot more bloody, and brutal.

Here are a few of my most wanted Death Battles: Dexter vs. Jimmy Neutron: I've been wanting to see if that battle between these two boys geniuses since I first started watching Death Battle. I would love to see how this matchup goes. Daffy Duck vs. Donald Duck: Yes, I am aware there's already a dbx episode between these two, but I really want to see a full-fledged Death Battle between them without fan input. Shrek vs. Wreck-It Ralph: I really want to see a death battle between a DreamWorks character and a Disney character, and this matchup makes the most sense to me. The Powerpuff Girls (pre-reboot) vs. Powerpuff Girls Z: I don't know if this will actually happen, but I would love to see The Powerpuff Girls take on their Japanese counterparts. Of course, I'd also settle for a Powerpuff Girls Battle Royale. Either way, it would be awesome. Atom Ant vs. Mighty Mouse: This is probably the wackiest of My most wanted Death Battles, and probably won't happen anytime soon. But after seeing Ant-Man versus the atom, I'm just itching to see another death battle between two other mini But Mighty superheroes. Stitch vs. Bunnicula: I'm not sure if anyone is familiar with the latter, but I would love to see these two cute yet terrifying creatures duke it out with each other. Here’s my personal list for this season 10. Sly Cooper vs Lupin III (…vs…) A fun battle between thieves that use goofy gadgets. What could go wrong with that? Plus I don’t think that Death Battle has done a thief episode yet (I don’t think Lara vs Nathan counts because they’re more like treasure hunters) 9. Adam Jensen vs Motoko Kusanagi (Deus Ex vs Ghost in the Shell) Two cyborg operatives that would make an interesting fight with their unique augmentations, and I don’t think the show has had a Cyberpunk fight yet, correct me if I’m wrong. 8. John Constantine vs Raidou Kuzunoha XIV (DC Comics vs Shinn Megami Tensei) A battle between spirit detectives who know all sorts of magic that includes summoning magical beings, as well as a debatable outcome. I’m all in for it. 7. Giyu Tomioka vs Levi Ackerman (Demon Slayer vs Attack on Titan) A simple battle between the stoic badasses of their respective franchises. It might be a stomp even with it being between two more grounded characters, but I think it has good animation potential, with Levi’s ODM Gear and Tomioka’s Water Breathing. 6. Wolverine vs Bigby Wolf (Marvel Comics vs Fables) I think Wolverine needs a run back in the show. Sure Wolverine vs Raiden was a fun fight, but it’s inaccurate and this fight has some debate to it because neither of them have direct counters to each other’s immortality. 5. Darth Vader vs Obito (Star Wars vs Naruto) Honestly I just want to see Vader go against a Sage of Six Paths Obito because the thought of it is so cool to me. 4. Yuji vs Denji (Jujutsu Kaisen vs Chainsaw Man) A cool rivalry battle between new anime series, plus seeing Denji’s full Devil form going against Sukuna would be epic. 3. Satsuki Kiryuin vs Death the Kid (Kill La Kill vs Soul Eater) Soul Eater is my favorite anime franchise and Kid is one of my favorite characters in the series. I honestly think this is the best match for both, with the theme of them both having a high social status yet they made friends and allies with people beneath them as well as some neat potential for choreography with their insane skills with their respective weapons. 2. Harry Potter vs Percy Jackson (…vs…) Both characters are from my childhood favorites book series and it brings some great animation potential with Harry’s plethora of spells he has access to. 1. Mickey Mouse vs Bugs Bunny (Disney vs Warner Bros.) You described my feelings for this matchup perfectly and I’m not sure if I could say it any better😅.

It’s not a top 10 but these are fights I either like or I thought of. Some of the connections are weak and some are strong. I just thought they would work well and also I don't know much series or media for a well informed matchup. These Connections are just from me skimming the wiki pages and memory so there might be more. - Tsunayoshi Sawada vs Recca Hanabishi (Hitman Reborn vs Flame of Recca) Two young boys who are successors to their groups (The leader of the 10th generation of the Vongola Mafia Family and The successor of the Hokage Ninja Clan) and has a power that has to deal with fire (Tsuna's Flame of the Sky and Recca has the ability to create fire). - Tsunayoshi Sawada vs Itsuki Minami (Hitman Reborn vs Air Gear) Two young boys who are leaders of their groups (The leader of the 10th generation of the Vongola Mafia Family and The leader and Founder of the Air Treck Team Kogarasumaru) and have a relic that has to do with the sky (Tsuna's Vongola Ring of the Sky and Itsuki's Sky Regalia). - Yamamoto Takeshi vs Kamado Tanjiro (Hitman Reborn vs Demon Slayer) Two young boys that learn the way of the sword due to an event in their lives (Yamamoto learned swordsmanship to become a Gaurdian for the Vongola Mafia Family and Tanjiro learned swordsmanship to kill demons to find a cure for his sister), they both learned a sword style from their fathers (Yamato learned the Shigure Soen Ryu and Tanjiro inherited the ability to use the Sun Breathing technique), and they both have sword styles that incorporate water into their moveset (Yamamoto's Shigure Soen Ryu incorporates water and Rain Flames into his moveset and Tanjiro learned how to use Water Breathing Technniques). Another connection coulld be that they also have some kind of Fire ability with Rain Flames and Sun Breathing but that's a stretch. - Makunouchi Ippo vs Little Mac (Hajime no Ippo vs Punch Out) Two young men that are short boxers that have a heavy hitting punches and are well rounded boxers with good offensive and defensive styles. - Demon/Daemon Spade vs Obito Uchiha (Hitman Reborn vs Naruto) They both started as a person with good intentions (Demon started as an aristocrat that joined a mafia family that formed to protect the commonwealth from the aristocracy. Obito started as an orphan that had the goal to be acknowledged by the village, become the Hokage, and go out with Rin. He also started off as someone who would rather protect his teammates rather than completing the mission) until they lost a female they liked because of a friend's actions (Demon lost his lover when a rival mafia family invaded their territory due to the leader disbanding their family military. Obito lost his crush due to Kakashi killing her while escaping from the rain ninja and was the only way to stop them from unleashing the three tails from reaching the hidden leaf.). Basically they had hearts of gold until a loved one died and became a self centred person to complete their selfish goals. They both manipulated organizations that were antagonists in their stories (Demon manipulated the Simon family to try to defeat the Vongola Family by killing the leader and blaming it on the main character's dad. He also possessed one of the guardians of the Simon family to further manipulate them. I don’t remember that well but Obito had something to do with the current Akatsuki and he became the leader of it during the great ninja war.). They were both presumed to be dead but are alive when the main cast encounter them (Demon stayed alive for decades after abandoning his body by possessing other people to keep an eye on the Vongola family. Obito survived being crushed under boulders because Madara saved him). They both disguised themselves because they were presumed dead (Demon possessed others or hid in his illusions and Obito used the alias Tobi and hid his face with a mask.) They both have a monster form they can go into (Demon when fused with Mukuro becomes a monster with an eye on each leg and a mouth on his chest. Obito became the ten tails jinchuriki). Their motivation in the series was because of the female they lost (Demon's motivation was to make the Vongola Mafia Family the strongest Mafia family because his lover told him to help protect the weak with the vongola. His decision was to make it the strongest mafia family so he could rule with fear and nobody would dare oppose or attack the vongola family. Obito's motivation was to do anything Madara told him to do if it could bring him back together with Rin and Kakashi again. So to create a world where nobody died and everything is happy). They both died in peace remembering the females that died and entrusting the future to the next generation. - Sakuya Izayoi vs Dio Brando (Touhou vs JoJo’s) I put this one here because it's more like a copy vs the original battle to see who is stronger. Sakuya's powers are based on Dio with Time stop and throwing knives, also Dio is a vampire and Sakuya works for vampires. Another thing is that this could be a fight with vampire vs vampire hunter since the Touhou novelization says that Sakuya is possibly related to a clan of Vampire Hunters. - Ash Ketchum and Pikachu vs Kiyomaro Takamine and Zatch Bell (Pokémon vs Zatch Bell) Two young boys that befriended creatures with electric powers (Pikachu is a Pokemon and Zach Bell is a demon) and they achieved their goals at the end (Ash became the strongest pokemon trainer in the world and Zach became the demon lord). I don't remember if there was more connections this was all I could remember. - Kiran vs Fujimaru Ritsuka (Fire Emblem Heroes vs Fate/Grand Order) Two protagonists of gatcha games that canonically summon other characters in their franchise. They both travelled to different times and worlds to avoid a threat to their worlds. They both fought godly enemies and are able to summon them after the battle. They can summon heroes from alternate worlds and timelines. They are both part of organizations to help keep balance to their world. - Issei Hyodou vs Godou Kusanagi (Highschool DxD vs Campione) They were both ordinary teenage boys until an event happened where they got powers (Issei got killed by a fallen angel? and revived as a demon by Rias giving him powers and Godou used Prometheus' Grimoire to steal a gods Authority and used it to kill said God), Both their world have connections to mythology and legends, They both had an encounter with Sun Wukong (I think Issei was trained by him and Godou, with help, defeated Sun Wukong in battle), they are both harem protagonists (army battle?), They both fought with Gods. - Negi Springfield vs Rudeus Greyrat (Negima! Magister Negi Magi vs Mushoku Tensei) Two young boys that trained in magic and became teachers at a young age. When they got older they became the Magic Masters of their worlds. - Takina Inoue and Chisato Nishikigi vs Aria Holmes Kanzaki and Riko Mine (Lycoris Recoil vs Hidan no Aria) Duo of girls that trained in schools specialized in special ops (Secret Organization Direct Attack: DA and The Butei High Academy) This is all I can remember. - Doremi Sweet vs Freija (Touhou Project vs Fire Emblem Heroes) They are just known as the God/Ruler of the Dream World - Chase Suno vs Dan Kuso (Monsuno vs Bakugan) I put this because I remember that they had similar toys and game you can play. In bakugan you roll marbles with magnets on the bottom while in monsuno you spin a capsule with a toy inside to initiate battles. In the shows the monsters are either sealed in capsules or turned into toys. They both use cards to power up their monsters. The monsters have an elemental alignment. These are just the main characters of the shows. - Robin vs Ganondorf (Fire Emblem vs The Legend of Zelda) They both come from desert countries/kingdoms, they both have an evil deity inside of them (Grima and Beast King Ganon or Demise), they both have a crest on their hands (The crest of Grima and The triforce of power), In an alternate timeline they kill the hero/protagonist of the games they're in (Robin killed Chrom under Grima's influence and Ganon kills Link which creates the fallen hero timeline), they are both well versed in magic.

Alright, guess I'll throw my hat in this. Click below. 10. Kaos VS Lord Vortech - Lego Dimensions is a game that deserves more love, and I feel like pitting the game's main antagonist against that of the main toys-to-life series would make for a fun fight, plus the amount you can get out of the multiple dimensions is amazing. 9. Doofenshmirtz VS Drakken - Anything with Doof is honestly amazing when it comes to banter potential (except rick), but honestly, I feel like Drakken bounces off of him the best, not to mention the connections are really solid. 8. Gru VS Megamind - A really good legacy matchup that is genuinely debatable depending on what you buy for both of them. Not much more to say, it's Gru VS Megamind. 7. Finn & Jake VS Mordecai & Rigby - This was on the ballot for good reason. Really feel like the duos can bounce off of each other really well. Really don't have much else to say. 6. Luz VS Akko - I know Luz VS Anne exists, but this has much more animation potential and I would love to see Little Witch Academia be covered on the show and I feel like the interaction potential is phenomenal. 5. Bowser VS Eggman - The last good Mario VS Sonic matchup could really benefit from giving them their armies. Also, Bowser is in desperate need to return after Bowser VS Ganon and Eggman could use an updated analysis. 4. Dexter VS Jimmy Neutron - An absolute classic matchup, I'm not familiar with Dexter or what he can do. But I feel like their inventions could bounce off of each other really well. I really hope this is the beaker. 3. Sackboy VS Maxwell - Literally infinite potential with what they have. Also, I would love to see Wiz mentally spiral after seeing the power of Maxwell's notebook. 2. Bubsy VS Gex - It's just funny. The banter potential is through the roofs, and it'd be funny to see Bubsy join in on the rundowns along with the hosts. 1. Pac-Man VS Cuphead - After careful consideration, I realized that there is nothing holding this back from being my most wanted MU. The connections are solid, the animation potential is really good, and it's far more debatable than what people would think when they first get this matchup.

I know an unpopular matchup idea and it’s Dreadpool vs Waluigi (Marvel vs Mashed) Connections: both of them are alternate versions of popular fictional characters and they both kill all of there respective universes Dreadpool kills the Marvel Universe, and Waluigi kills all of super smash bros, and more(there are probably more connections than that but I might have forgotten about them) Who wins: Not sure I think it goes either way but Dreadpool could win with the carbinanium sword, and due to some of his hax, but Waluigi could win due to his raw stats, and/or you include scaling him to the characters that he has defeated but again I’m not sure who wins I think it could go either way but I am not sure. Track name ideas: 1. Mashing the universe 2. Purple Dread 3. My Ultimate Desire Track genre: a rap song in the style of all of the Waluigi vs Super smash bros and Just do it now, and x gin give it to ya. The track could be the actual dialogue in the fight just like in Mashed. Animation style: Hand drawn in the normal Death Battle style of hand drawn, but mixed with the mashed style.
