I get pretty frustrated with myself when I either cycle back to something I thought I'd worked through, or when I get triggered by something that makes my heart rate go up and I find myself "back there" again...so I really love how Jim said that I should say, "Well of course I'm here.." and then have a plan not to get stuck there. It's so kind and merciful to myself. I love the grace in that thought. I don't go to therapy, just trying to muddle my way through to healing, so these videos are so very helpful; thank you!

I appreciate you guys so much. Through watching all the Therapy and Theology videos I have been able to walk through my own trauma of physical and verbal abuse within my marriage and have finally been able to let go of the bitterness that has haunted me back for YEARS! God has really used you all to help me in this healing process. I still have a long way to go, and I don't know what will happen in my marriage, but I can say that no matter what...I will trust the LORD to hold me and get me through!

Just now starting this process of letting go of the bitterness and expectation of others telling me they are sorry for things they have said and/or done to me. Baby steps for sure…but your books and these videos are a HUGE blessing!! Thank you!

it’s so amazing to me how the word of God speaks to us. All the verses that you have shared are the exact versus the Lord has revealed to me in this battle with the enemy, within my own mind. each time sin begins to push through the door, the word of God rises up and shuts it out. it’s a daily battle but i trust that God is walking through this with me and i WILL conquer it. thank you for your wise counseling.

I’m in a state of severe pain and trauma- lost my dad recently and found out that my husband of just 1 year has been cheating before and during my loss. Once I found out, he apologized and then started giving me the silent treatment. I’m confused, hurt… prayed and cried out to the Lord and feel like God is not hearing me. Pray for me Having said that, thank you for sharing your wisdom and words of encouragement. God Bless!

This is SO good. So challenging, especially the part about fighting injustice (or a wrong) out of bitterness rather than from a healthy place. Thank you for this biblical series. God is using it to help me live out my faith in a healthier and more biblical way.

Lysa, these 2 videos have helped me so much. Thank you 3 for bringing your wisdom, knowledge & time to help all of your viewers. God Bless you! I have experienced healing watching these 2 videos. Especially when Lysa spoke about sin/consequences. I don't have to see them get the consequences of their actions because sin/consequences are a packaged deal. God is just. That set me free. Remembering this will help me to forgive more readily from now on.

Such good food for my spirit! It never fails that while on this journey of a goodbye, Jesus leads me to one of your teachings and it speaks exactly to what I'm questioning or experiencing. This was so helpful bc just yesterday I was wondering, "Lord, are you really gonna let him have the last laugh? Am I the one that's going to be left ashamed and broken while he continues on in error?" I was wondering how I would know when healing has taken place as well as whether I'd entered into bitterness. I received this as confirmation that I am on the path to healing.❤

Very helpful indeed after knowing my husband cheated on me more than 15 yrs behind me n telling me he will continue his relationship w this single girl even while he sees me in agony. Each morning i wake w nausea of depression asking God t fill me w His joy n strength t face that day while not divorcing him defending my family n grandchildren from trauma of broken grandparents. Only by miracle i m enduring each day n my heart not quitting on me. Its so sad that i can not believe or trust my husband while loving him w agope love n forgiving him t be forgiven by God. Thanx for caring enough t share ur testimony n guidlines t get rid of sharp killing bitterness each moment tormenting my inner being. 🙏
