I never got bored watching tractor videos. This series has been fantastic. From increasing the hydraulic power on the 2038R to shopping for a 50-70 HP tractor. I am very disappointed with my 2038R lift capacity. I stopped my local JD dealer since I am considering getting a cabin tractor, but the prices are crazy high. Thank you for the awesome videos.

Hey Brock - something to be aware of with that tractor. The cables connecting the range and gear levers are prone to stretching and jamming. Has happened to me numerous times. The one thing that seems to help avoid it is to put the forward/reverse lever in neutral before changing either range or gear.

Hey Brock, regarding the emissions on that tractor the main reason it doesn't have DPF and regens is that it uses a DOC or diesel oxygen catalyst which is essentially the same thing as the catalytic converter on your car. Mahindra took this route a while ago and now CNH, John Deere (2024+) and others have followed suite on their utility tractors. A few years ago I was in the market for a 75 hp utility cab tractor and thought I wanted a John Deere 5075 but at the time they used DPF and Regen so I stared looking at CNH and Deutz-Fahr and am glad I did (ended up picking the Deutz 5080D). Regen is such a big time waste and fuel waste and, as you know, if you bypass the Regen too often you're asking for expensive trouble!

Looking forward to these next few tractor reviews. Having one to actually use is a nice way to get a good feel of a machine. The New Holland is a nice looking tractor. From personal experience you might want to consider a tractor of this size. After using it some you might see how stout a tractor in this frame size is and really they aren’t that much harder to get around.

You will like the NH. The room in the cab is nice. I have a 97hp NH cab 4x4 The work master 95. Super nice machine, pros visability and just solid power. Cons, shuttle shift is kinda clunky not smooth, machine is a little light weight, not very fuel efficient at low rpm like putting out hay in winter it uses more fuel than my JD and my kubotas which are over 100hp. And that dang gear shift ! Man that thing is in the way I can't tell you how many times I've reached and grabbed it to try to make the bucket go up and down. But for the money i would definitely purchase again.

There’s a lot to be said about why dealer that would let you try a tractor like this. Let face it the majority of tractors today are all great. That’s the new Holland I tried out that ran so smooth! Only reason I didn’t get it was because the plastic on the fenders didn’t look like it would last on the ROPS version. Cab option would be an excellent choice on that one. If I remember right, it had one of the best feeling loader valves too.

Brock, great series. The color change in the thumbnail didnt fool me lol. Jensen tractor ranch is great to do business with. Ive own several NH 100 hp tractors, still have an older tl100 4x4 that we feed and bale hay with. For the most part they just run. They are pricey if you do have to work on them. I would also imagine the newer ones with the emissions stuff on them is like you truck and have very pricey components on them. Those grand kids are adorable. Really with our tl100 had a buddy seat in it so i could take my kids with me.

Like the call to go up a frame size here as you definitely moved up the food chain in total features and capability all right (minus the hydrostat convenience for loader work though?) My nearest New Holland dealer sells a LOT of the Workmasters and up for real farmers and hay operations and sells Kioti compacts from 55ish hp down. That "all day" cab with the nicer roof for loader work and buddy seat is appealing. Will be curious to see the review on this one!

The best advice I got when I was buying my 1st tractor was from a friend that grew up on a ranch and had been running equipment his whole life and he said “ big tractors can do small jobs, but small tractors cannot do big jobs.” A lot of first time tractor buyers end up buying a compact or subcompact tractors only to get it home and realize that it’s to small and underpowered to get the work done that they want.

We have a workmaster 65 that we've put almost 900hrs on. It has been a good machine, very stout for 65hp. No regen or dpf, just doc. The engine impressed me because its the first diesel Ive owned that doesnt turn the oil black immediately after an oil change. They have all the features of the premium tractor but at a much lower price(pd 40k for ours with 3rd function b4 the inflation) and NH had a no $ down 0% finance that was an easy sell. I have a 3point grizzly backhoe I gotta replace a seal in, but for the time it was on, the wm hydro seemed up to the task. The FEL is smooth on it compared to the JD e series we were running. This tractor feels like its more stable than the JD aswell. The JD would bring a wheel off the ground if we were handling baleage, the wm stays planted.

Would love to see some examples of what this utility class is “too big to do”. I’m in the market for the exact same “largest hydrost” style tractor that you’ve been reviewing. I currently have two very old tractors - one large 90 horse utility, and one compact 32 horse w/ loader. My hope is to find a happy medium that would allow me to replace both with one new unit. Tilling a small garden as an example - can that be done well with a utility tractor or is it too big to do well in a tight area. And conversely, maybe how much more uncomfortable is mowing a rough field with a small tractor than the larger utility would be.

Enjoying the videos. What is it too big for, when does size get in the way. How does it do on multiple hydraulic functions simultaneously. How big of equipment can it run, how many functions com standard. Thanks for all you do. God bless.

I remember how scared I always was when the kids were young. I always taught them to make eye contact with any operator before getting near them. No eye contact, stay away.

Like to hear what the fuel economy is on a days work or throughout the week. How often will it need to be refueled after brush cutting a field or such.

I think you're not gonna like the egg tires messing around in the yard or on your gravel with them I think they got a run up stuff too much for you I like the series but I also can't wait to see your trailer or the wagon. Your farm wagon done lol and I also can't wait to see another Kwanzaa hut being built lol LL O L.

I'm not sure you even needed ramps to load and unload that tractor bud. Considerably larger than your John Deere
