Joe Walsh join Ali Velshi to discuss the reaction among Republicans and what it reveals about the state of the GOP. “There is no line, there's nothing Donald Trump can do to peel most Republican voters off of him,” Walsh says.

Using these statistics to suggest the trial has no impact on voters reflects a misunderstanding of statistics. The vast majority of the 15% who say they are more likely to vote Trump are already ardent/MAGA Trump supporters. There are few if any new votes for Trump. The 17% who are less likely to vote for Trump are likely made up of weak Trump supporters, undecided and weak Democratic supporters. If Trump lost half of that group, his support would drop from say 50% to 42% of the population. That would lead to not a 50 - 50 election outcome but rather a 42 to 58 outcome for Biden. Even if half of the 17% decided not to vote at all rather than voting for Trump, that would lead to a 46 to 54 election victory for Biden

Having absolutely nothing to do with that, my question is this, WHY are they totally ignoring the 2nd reason defined in Section 3 of the 14th Amendment? It is an update to the 1st Amendment as a result of the Civil War, it put limits on it. "or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof." No laws have to be broken, just SUPPORTING them in any way disqualifies them. It applies to any current or former member of our Government or our Military at ANY level. They swore an Oath to Serve and Protect the United States, it's Constitution and violated it, how can they POSSIBLY be trusted to not do it again? They can't be, Trump and his supporters are already proving it.
