So much to enjoy in this video, Caroline and Peter. Nice to remember Jasper with you. Lovely to see Dexter being a good doggy friend. Nice tribute to your time with Paul and Antony. Amazing to see the joint effort to free the stuck boats. Perhaps my favorite thing was your music choice to dance around the swans. Brilliant. Were the grey swans signets on their way to turning white? Take care.

So glad you enjoyed it Leigh! So many wonderful memories with P&A&D, and rest assured we will all be travelling together again one day in the not too distant future! We just need to decide when and where! I was so happy to find the Swan Lake music on the library I use, and it was perfect for the swan family footage going through the lock. The two grey swans were older cygnets. Hope you have stayed safe in the awful storms and tornados I have been reading about that tore through Houston! 😳

We are going back to do that journey to Stratford again this summer, and beyond onto the River Avon, as we really didn't get a chance to fully enjoy the journey given what we were going through at the time. We will miss Paul and Anthony not sharing it with us this time though, but we are hoping to meet up again for the winter 😊

What a beautiful bittersweet vlog Caroline: back when you still had Jasper to cuddle, your dad to hug, and Paul and Anthony to share the good times with you and Pete ❤. Thank God for memories - and especially memories captured on film! I shed a tear when you parted with Paul and Anthony at Stratford 😥. I lost my narrowboat partner in 2022 very suddenly - and almost on the boat while we were cruising! Fortunately I nagged enough about returning to the marina and getting checked out at Minor Injuries that Guy died on terra firma in hospital . . . but I cherish the photos and videos of us that will always be with me. How is your mum coping if you don't mind me asking?? Well done Pete for resolving the dilemma of the boats stuck under the bridge 👏👏👍. Now looking forward to seeing you all together again at Crick 2024. Won't be long now!! In the meantime take care, safe travelling and love and cuddles to Hamish and Poppy ❤🐾🐾❤.
