I'm not autistic but I have that one friend who is autistic... he's been always bullied but I always defended him, he's sooo sweet... and he *is a normal boy... he's just like everyone else and he should be also treated like everyone else*

I'm autistic. I have been since I was little. And my big brother started doing these voices that drove me nuts. They were loud sometimes, and raspy others. They mad me feel very uncomfortable. But no matter how many times I complained, mom and dad never made him stop. He just kept doing it. So when I got to liking singing, I sang "Let it Go" which was a new song at the time. And my brother hated it because he thought it was overrated. And when mom and dad gave him the "Just ignore it" treatment, he started doing to voices even worse. I had to start yelling at him to make him shut up, and even that wouldn't work. So my parents got mad at me, and fussed even more. On top of that, My brother had some trouble with friends at school, so he shut down, started believing everyone was out to get him, and wouldn't make anymore friends. He kept picking on me and bugging me, and acted like a little kid if I ever bugged him. So after a year or so of that, my parents took him to see a psychologist, and guess who gets the first autism diagnosis? Not me. I thought it wasn't true. then I started realizing I had autism since I was little, and got tested. But it took a while for me to convince my parents, and then I couldn't get tested until after I graduated high school. Now I'm officially autistic, I have an autism councilor, and NOTHING has changed. I have a job. I drive by myself. My brother, on the other hand, never takes care of himself and spends the whole day up in his room, never doing his chores or looking for a job. And he's still allowed to do all the things that make me uncomfortable, or just pick on me because "He's autistic." So I have to put up with it. And because HE'S autistic, UI HAVE TO stop doing the things that bug him. He gets to call me names. But if I ever do anything to him, my parents treat it like some sort of scandal. My brother is allowed to act uncivilized. But my autism doesn't make any difference to my parents. It's my brother autism that ruled the house, even though he had his DIAGNOSIS longer, not his actual autism.

This video is so touching, especially that you start the explanation with "I'm just a normal boy" is so important. Because that's exactly how it is for us autistic people, we feel normal internally, only externally we seem different. This video just touched so much in me, thank you for that 🩵

Constructive criticism: maybe you should have had him talk to the audience all the time and the other characters think it's weird.

Strangely, autism isn't mentioned in the bible. But if you're struggling with modernity, that might be a sign you have the something called "superstition" or a "low level of education". Thankfully there is a cure: education is rated "e" for everyone.
