Heck yeah man great eye/ catch with the black sand! I'd move all those bigger rocks out the way in like a 4ft square and skim the top along with the flat end of a pick or the shovel. You never know!

Yes if been doing this sence 85 you are rocking it . George is the first gold rush in America. And still has way more gold then you can carry. When you get to the right spot. Yes most patiented claims millions in tonadge there . More art please . And today I learned something from you even though flower gold wizard shows it all the time follow the black sands chasing fine golf. Blessings to all

Good eye man! I’d try behind that tree, around where the roots run perpendicular to the river, also that black “mold” is probably organic material that was left behind from the water going down. Good stuff man, when you coming back to NC?

The rush river that I go to quite often had heavy rain and flooded and when the river went down to normal walking to my spot you can see the concentration of black sand and it's been producing very good amount of gold still 3 months later good for Wisconsin in my opinion. Great video

Was that a piece of mercury gold? Or possibly silver? Don’t know how prevalent mercury gold is down where you are
@goldiswhereyoufindit2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it was mercury. Idiots dumped that crap everywhere here in the 1800s. There are a lot of old mines upstream from where I was

What bridge you working around? Good gold..im in Florida and no gold down here so I want to go north but not to far.. Georgia is closest..keep on digging and stay safe.
@goldiswhereyoufindit2 жыл бұрын
I promised the property owner I wouldn't tell people where it is. Yes, the bridge has an easement, but the guy that owns the property on either side of the easement has given me permission so I have to respect his wishes. There must be some gold in Florida in the Chattahoochee river because it has gold here in the same river. It works its way down there I'm sure of it.

Coming to Georgia next week maybe you could give me some help on where to go for fun for panning
@goldiswhereyoufindit2 жыл бұрын
If you've never been to Crisson Gold Mine in Dahlonega you should go there. You can pan their crushed ore. Also, if you want to pan for some "wild gold" I'd reccommend Blankets Creek at Lake Allatoona or Yahoola Park in Dahlonega. Both places are pan and shovel only but definitely contain gold.

I just wanna know where this is I live in north Georgia
@goldiswhereyoufindit Жыл бұрын
It's in Auraria, GA on the Etowah. Not too hard to figure out which one. You can't access the bridge easement without crossing private property though so I can't personally give you permission to go there - but you'll most certainly see the owner out there. He'll probably give you permission if you ask nicely and promise to clean up any messes.

If you bring a trash bag and pickup litter before you hit the river the land owner will must likely give you permission. Littering upsets him, me too !

I see you use a sluice box in all your videos. Have you ever had any GA DNR say anything about using a sluice box? I'm always afraid I will get fine or worse jailed for using a sluice box on public land.
@goldiswhereyoufindit Жыл бұрын
Nice acans, I mean micromusas in your profile pic. To my knowledge there is no law against sluice boxes at the state level. DNR allows zero gold prospecting whatsoever however in state parks. In the national forest follow the national forest's rules which is no sluicing. Bridge easements, as far as I know there is no law. Also of course private property there is no law against sluicing. I however am not a lawyer and cannot give legal advice.

@@SirLagsAlot1177 All I have now is a 13.5 nano with a hair algae problem but I used to farm coral back in the day. Look at my recent video with the thumbnail "gold mining politician" where a natural resources and environment committeewoman from the GA state house used a sluice box with me.

Rookie Gold Prospector >>> lmfao you keep saying that creek is a river 😂🤣😂🤣
@goldiswhereyoufindit2 жыл бұрын
I mean it's called a river. It's the Etowah River. Georgia doesn't have giant powerful rivers like out west.
