There are mods that do this, but that should definitely be in the official game, The End's an infinite, space-like abyss yet everything is so flat and it doesn't take advantage of all that space.

In one of Mojangs videos about the end dimension they confirmed that the End is a world outside space and time unlike the Nether which is just a huge cave underneath the overworld’s bedrock. As we know the end dimenson is shaped like a disc, you have the main island then the 1000 block void, then after that you have the main islands, I was thinking that for an end update if you travel 1000 blocks from the outer islands thats when you will encounter a new end biome, then 1000 blocks from that another biome and so on and so forth.

UGH I want more lavender blocks SO BAD!!! another thing i think they're working on behind the scenes based on community feedback is an inventory update. i think the dyeable bundles are another "hint" towards that, but I do think a real good inventory update is going to take them quite a while to come up with so i'll just be here waiting patiently until then. but I really am so hyped for dyeable bundles lol all of these tiny quality of life updates are making a HUGE difference!!!

Unlikely as the developers said they’d not update the end until all overworld biomes are updated and modernized. That’s why the wild update was a big let down as sense it didn’t modernize anything other then the swamp it hints that the end update will take a long time to come.

The turtle egg is fitting because it’s so small. The dragon egg in my opinion is perfect and every bigger egg should be more like it. In my opinion the sniffer egg is the one they fucked up on. I had a few ideas watching this video and the last one. They're not at all thought all the way through, but I'll drop them here anyway. We've got the breeze in the overworld and the blaze in the nether. 1a) is it time for a variant in the stronghold if it would be revamped? 1b) Is it then also time for a variant in the end? It could then come with it's own, brand new structure and new blocks 2a) could we somehow tie the dragon egg texture and amethyst geode together to bridge both dimensions? 2b) could we then potentially expand the geodes in the overworld and have them in different colours to tie it back in to the new structure in the end and the new blaze/breeze type in both the stronghold and the end? 3) Unrelated, but you know of course how we got chiselled copper in the trial chambers. Could we then get chiselled iron and gold blocks for the stronghold and end structures as well? What do you think?

there might be high chances of end update since nether got its first update in 2010 and then the next major update in 2020 and the end was added in end of 2011 so probabaly devs were maybe thinking of the next major update 10 years after like 2021 - 2022 but the pandemic hit so they cant add a big scale update like this and delayed it untill they can devlop huge scale updates and now we have seen they are building tools to easy their development progress and like these tool are like almost getting complete by now so maybe we can expect an end update also there is a lot of hype about an end update just like there was hype about 1.16 the nether update

I like the shape of the dragon egg - it's actually egg shaped with it's oval-ish silhouette relative to that size. The sniffer egg is the one that looks weird, and needs more curved edges. Small eggs like the turtle ones being how they are is fine, because they are small.

11:54 the rover animation resembles, and is likely a predecessor of the block display function introduced in the current update, and the early grate block functioning as a sort of trap and the chests with random stuff in them might be an indicator that the trial chambers at some point in time were meant to be generated not on world creation like is it now, but rather live on the spot as the players beat and unlock each section, basically starting out as a small unassuming entryway and expanding into an absolute unit of a structure

End islands on different y-levels, with craters, potatoe update/Aether style land generation but still seperated to necessitate the elytras use, end wilds like in dungeons, a wider variety of structures in end cities but keep them rare, and chorus plant flowers that can be used in potions, or maybe make it so you can use chorus fruit in a potion...The end update i dream of...

Don't get me wrong, Id love an end update, but i just don't trust that mojang is gonna do it right. The theme is, quite desolate. it's a barren wasteland, no life, could even consider it a glitched reality, in the end reality is upside down. however i feel like mojang won't really see a broken reality, but some alien dimension, and everything the end used to be will just be completely overwritten. My idea of the end is this dimension physics and reality is inconsistent and completely broken, the end would have infinite terrain that expands vertically and horizontally, there would be upside down and even sideways islands, liquids that flow upwards, chorus roots that behave like upside down trees. etc.

A total end overhaul would be insane. I'm a big fan of that. It's a shame that updates don't take place in already explored chunks though, i don't have anything going on in the end really so it'd be cool for me if it just reset the whole dimension. It'd be cool if that was at least an option to allow or not.

Not entirely sure but deleting the end data in your game files should reset the end. Useful for when you permanently lose a dragon egg too
