My oldest chicken is 11 years old and she is still going strong. We have a big strong fence and chicken wire roof on the very big run area to stop raccoons foxes Hawkes and opossums.

Personally, I think you should put the sofa out with a "free" sign on it for someone who is willing to reupholster it for their camper. Those jack knife sofas cost quite a bit, so I know someone would scoop it up in a heartbeat. Think about blessing others before you go throwing everything out. There are tons of Nomads who would be glad to have it all!

Looking good doing demo. Very proud of Trent for surrendering to the process. My dad always insisted if my brothers worked under the car like that, the had to pull off one of the tires and put it under the car with them. If the jack somehow failed, the tire was a safeguard. The original trailer floor plan was a very accommodating floor plan. They had the table that made into bed that would make a very comfortable eating / office area. It had a sofa to sprawl out on so it was definitely a comfortable floor plan for living and leisure so it will be interesting to see how Trent's and Allie's personal vision will differ from the original floor plan. I agree that used mattresses have to be replaced and sofa and chairs uppostry almost always has to be replaced but taking the functioning table and sofa out was very daring and it will be interesting to see their vision come to life and if they choose to reuse the sofa and the table. I am sure what ever it is it will be perfect for the life style of Trent and Allie and their dog.

@cherylanderson33404 жыл бұрын
You guys are impressive, trying your hand at so many things & doing them well. I have a couple of suggestions with the gardening, however. When it comes to planting potatoes, you will have better luck to plant them in a deep heavy duty plastic type waste basket or tub. They need deep soil for the tubers ( potatoes) to develop on the root systems. You want to be sure your potatoes are kept well below the soil line. If they're exposed to sunlight while developing, they will turn green. This makes them develop a poisonous chemical. There isn't enough depth for them in a shallow planter like those. Also, take the potatoes & cut them in pieces, with maybe 3 eyes per section. ( Check online for this to get exact info, ie: how many eyes per section. You can also plant them whole, but must plant them deeper, with maybe 2' of soil beneath them, & as they grow, add more soil on top to "mound them up". (Please read about this or view vids online). If you cut them into sections, let the cut sides air dry for a day or two before planting. With all those pieces, you would need more planting space so maybe buy large storage tubs instead. They must be deep. how many potatoes did I see? 6 maybe? If each one is cut into 3 sections, that would be too many for just one tub, so look into planting them in the soil you have, & mending it if needed. They'll need full sun, as will the tomatoes. The tomato plants which are tall should also be planted differently. If 14" tall, as it appears to be, remove the leaves of the lower 12" or so, & plant all of that below ground. shots will emerge from nodes on the stem, so you will have many stems, not just one per plant. This will need to be in deeper soil as well, so buy a deep pot or waste basket per plant or buy another big tub, or plant the Potatoes & tomatoes in amended soil in the yard. That way, the good soil amendments go down to enrich & condition the native soil. This makes lean, sandy, & even clay soil good to plant in. The soil depth of your planters is better for flowers or things that do OK in shallow soil. Maybe things like salad greens, radishes, & some herbs. When you 1st built the planter boxes, I thought you were going to place them on the ground, & add in the enriched soil like you did, with the yard soil below. Instead you built them with bottoms. so I was thinking that's too bad as the plants can't sink their roots into the soil below, to whatever depth they need, & stay cool on hot days. BTW, you're going to need a shade cloth for the top & vents for air flow, or everything will cook on the 1st hot day, as the ambient temp could go way above 100 & all enclosed like that - even if it's only 75 or 80 degrees outside.

Too much parenting going on in that relationship. Relationships don't usually last very long when that happens.

Annie What do u mean by parenting?

@@donnahanfordnichols6573 - When one person in a relationsship is acting as the parent and treats the other person like a child that has no saying in anything, it is called parenting. One person is calling the shots and the other person has to obey. I am getting flash backs from watching this.
