First of all, love your channel. I experienced something with Bonita last month fishing off Ft Morgan that changed my life as a fisherman. We caught some en route to pur snapper spot and cousin told me he knew how to prepare them correctly. Immediately bled it, dunked it in slush, and when we got back cut a big chunk of the filet out to get rid of the bloodline (basically kept the top and bottom third of the filet and threw the middle one away). Put some olive oil, worshchester sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper into a ziplock with the filets, then seared both sides on a charcoal grill. It was delicious. Honestly could have passed for yellowfin (made me wonder what the restaurants are serving haha). Anyhow, does not work if you freeze it, but follow those steps and you won't be throwing Bonita back anymore unless you don't feel like cleaning and eating good that night.

We used to catch white Trout at night when we could afford a condo at Goff shore . We caught red fish spotted trout croaker of course. 3 at a time depending on how many hooks you had just don't reel in when the first one hits and usually have 2 or 3 at a time. But we could only catch them at night mostly. But a crappie umbrella rig is best for catching them because the crab will eat a live bait on the bottom . And a spinner bait is best for trout and redfish .

Sand trout, and Silver trout. The sand trout grows bigger. The sand trout has a straight tail, the silver trout’s tail curves out and back in. I catch both in the channel running together.

Question about white trout.... I fish with a guy who checks what kind, and he calls one species "sweet trout " is this the same as the silver ?
