Loni’s take on the funny topic was interesting because the first person I thought of was her lol she definitely had a issue with knowing when to stop the funny and just participate in the conversation . Sometimes that can be overbearing because it seemed like it was her way of deflecting during deep conversations

I think common sense and street smarts can be helpful in everyday life but I don’t need a teacher or a mentor I need someone who can bring ease to my life and sometimes when time gets tough u gotta laugh to keep from crying so having someone in my life that can make me laugh… I’ll take that over anything else ! Laughter heals the soul

Pride is unhealthy period. We can’t mix it up with self worth, dignity and principles it is not the same. The Bible warns against pride, so there’s no such thing as I have a healthy amount of pride. I love Loni’s perspective…
@ItsNicckster
@ItsNicckster 2 жыл бұрын
*pride offers a sense of protection from people hurting you. everybody has a little portion of it subconsciously. now if you live by it, then that’s unhealthy and can turn into ego and conceitedness. it’s good to have an even balance of humbleness as well*

It’s in The Book of Proverbs (Hebrew: מִשְלֵי, Míshlê (Shlomoh), "Proverbs (of Solomon)"), which is a book in the third section (called Ketuvim) of the Hebrew Bible (The Hebrew Bible is the same as the Christian Old Testament so it’s in the Bible because it’s an old Jewish wisdom and the Old Testament is the Jewish texts).
