No! You never ever date a co-worker, take it from me! Let’s say you work closely together, if you had a fight at home, you’re going to end up taking that fight to work and vice versa. Plus being around your partner at work and at home can be a bit suffocating. And if you guys break up and work at the same place, you’ll start hearing gossip about him and the girls he’s talking to. That’s just going to drive you crazy and hurt your feelings. Don’t do it loves. 💔
@sucram10156 жыл бұрын
Actually I agree with you because my sister told me about this married couple that works together at her job and basically there relationship is something were I believe other coworkers know of. And my sister told me stories about how the husband is sexist and he takes but never gives back to his wife and he doesn't treat her right and it shows in her work place.
@lstarsabb6 жыл бұрын
Yeah... I had to learn that the hard way. He ended up quitting for another job, but a few guys that work in his area will not let me forget it. I've had a few guys express that they like me but i won't cross that line because i remember how awkward things got when we broke up with my ex.

It really depends on the person. My man and I worked together but in separate departments. Still everyone would see us together and asked, we always kept it on the low. Now we've been together for 4 years. I think it takes maturity to know that you do have to separate your personal issues vs your work. Always leave those problems outside of work, it can mess up your hustle.

Some people will judge us through looks. One time, the panels told me that they cannot hire me because I look young to be a professor and students might find me lenient and easy. In my head, "where did they get all these thoughts?" They even not bother to scan my credentials. me and a co worker knew each other for 2 years but never spoke in more than friends type of way. then in january (4 months more than friends - to april) we started talking. he liked me i knew from the start as he kept flirting. he then gave me his number, we spoke for ages day and night, felt like we knew each other forever. we connected soooo well. we was both falling so hard but so quick. he said i love you pretty quick and then i did 1 month later. but there was sadly big factors meaning we couldnt be together. he was 35 and had 3 kids, i was 25 and he was my first love. the first person i opened up too. as from the start i kept rejecting him saying no we cannot be together. but he broke my walls down. we mutually decided to cool things off as he said we would just break each others heart if we cannot be together fully. but he made it clear we would always be friends and be there for each other. he recently quit and before he quit he told nobody at my work place but me. he messaged me this huge para was cute tbh. basically saying i been such a good part of his life and been so good to him and we would be friends forever and good luck on my future and stuff. i messaged him back basically saying the same and told him i would miss him so much and he said the same. i truly loved him and still do love him but was a huge age gap and he had 3 kids and i was waiting for the 1 due to religious reasons and he was atheist so it would never work. but he was such a good guy and i told him if things were different i would always pick him and i dont know if i could love someone more than i loved him. till this day i cannot forget him. miss you J p.s nobody in my work knew and we kept it private so not even family or friends knew about us, as i told him i didnt want people to know about our business and he agreed. honestly this man wanted to propose to me in such little time he knew me. he was like i have never met a girl like you. im still single as im not over him yet, its been 1 month since we stopped 'dating', and i dont think i will be open to anyone anytime soon.

People say you shouldn't date a co-worker because it messes up the work environment, if you're fighting.. and it does, because I've done it. But people act like you can't just find a new job. There's lots of jobs out there, so if you end up dating somebody and it fucks up your work situation.. then leave and get a new job. Though I wouldn't recommend leaving before you have a new job. And this only applies to people who work in fields where it's not hard to find another job. If you're an engineer, and that's the only position in your state open for you... then obviously don't do that dumbshit. But if you work at a bank in the credit department... you can easily find other work.
