@iraqiboy904 жыл бұрын
@Bryce McF instantly because he handles alot of real money on the show. He knows the touch and color of the real notes. Anything different is an alarm, that's why he went looking for the hologram. Not me, but one of my co-workers on my grocery store received a 500,- kr note (53usd) and it was indentified later by my boss (which was already too late). He kept it so we can see it ourselves. I've handled alot of cash and i can say that 500,- note had pretty good color accuracy including the shiny parts but it didnt have the same touch and the shiny parts wernt that good on further check. So, an untrained person cannot be cheated with normal printer printing, but can definity be cheated on these kind of high quality fake notes. That's why he was asking him of where did he print them. You dont need to ask of he printed it at home because you would see at first glance.

"When you handed over fake money... TO BUY A FAKE STAMP!!!". Is the hypocrisy not lost on them???
@benhealey80558 жыл бұрын
The hustlers are there to scam him for tele purposes and they wouldn't of stole of him they would of gave it him back in the end but they are told to scam for tele purposes the guy gave them fake money which is counterfeit fraud yes the hustlers do the same but for tele purposes, imagine if that stamp was legit and he gave them fake money, doesn't matter the circumstances that's counterfeit fraud and he could of been punished for it, if he thought that the deal was fake he shouldn't have turned up at all
@JonathanGray898 жыл бұрын
It's definitely not hypocrisy. That would require the hustlers to claim or imply having higher moral standards (which obviously isn't the case). Even if that were the case, it still wouldn't be hypocritical as it wasn't really the hustlers' intention to dupe the guy out of his money. The sole reason they actually had to break character at all is because they can't legally deal with counterfeit money.
@fahimrahat19208 жыл бұрын
They have permission to do these things. But the mark doesn't. The purpose of the show is to avoid being scammed

It's illegal to be in possession of counterfeit bank notes, when the Real Hustle walked away with the fake cash, they were also in possession of it and they KNEW it was fake. Also, the bloke didn't actually buy anything with the money, if anything he gave it away to a complete stranger claiming to make him 3 grand from a stamp. Fun video, but the whole stamp-collector scenario looks so contrived! What would be cool is finding a way of incorporating the TV show itself into the scam. Maybe do something dodgy that makes the mark suspicious, then when he voices his misgivings the producers come out and tell him it's ok, it's all for a TV show, but that he managed to outsmart them -- putting him at ease, after which they run the real con.

why does the so called "mark" feel obliged to sit there and be grilled by the real hustle team? I mean I know they are in the corner grill restaurant but this is a bit ridiculous, its like the cast and crew have all surrounded him and are asking demanding questions of him as if they have a right to or have some authority over him, but they are not the police nor do they have powers of detention, they are hustlers who have been hustled and are therefore feeling a bit indignant that they have lost control of the situation, but if I was that guy who passed the fake money I would just get up ad leave and not answer any of their demanding questions at all and just not give them back control of the situation and there is nothing they could do about it.......if they wanted something done about it they would have to call the police, but the real hustle team have passed counterfeit £20 notes in the past by posing as a police detective and flashing fake police ID to con people exiting a currency exchange, so they can hardly feel indignant that the tables have turned on them.

They always say that after they have been "got". "i knew was a scam all along" or "i knew i was on a TV show" or "i know you were in disguise" Despite evidence to the contrary.
