Christina, here's a tip for handling glass: Sometimes an errant fingerprint will find it's way to the glass no matter how cautious we try to be. Wearing a pair of grip-positive gloves such as nitrile or latex will eliminate this little issue. By the way, you are the only diy-er I subscribe to as you appear to be so calming, mature, humble and your work is always presented beautifully.

Love your KZbin videos and as I worked in a frame shop for years, thought I would share some tips- the white backer board is called foam core and you can have any print/photo dry mounted on it to ensure you have no wrinkles or you can buy it and have it cut to size at any frame shop, Michaels or Hobby Lobby or you can cut it yourself at home with a single edge razor blade. You can also buy a gun that shoots the framers points (what you called staples) into the frame, also available at Hobby Lobby. It’s inexpensive and well worth the money to professionally frame at home. Lastly, generally speaking, spray paint which is now available in many colors, is the best method for painting metal frames - it adheres much better, is less likely to be scraped off and doesn’t show brush marks. Look forward to see what neat things you have for us next week. Also hope that Hadley’s seizures are better

Another inspirational DIY. I have an old wooden frame from my mother that I could never part with, it held a photo of myself and brothers, it's about 65 years old. I have just started using frames....I am putting interest in them and buying interesting looks for my decor. My favorite today was the Monet wood frame with gilding wax. The ripples in the water were beautiful with the carvings of the wood.

A late Saturday afternoon to you Christina, so nice to have you showing and inspiring us the viewers! What a lovely end result with the posters. Depending what your choice is. you can make a wonderful display of the real deal for casual fun and beauty in your own home. It made such a pleasant change to the stairs, something to admire along the way. The print with the roses worked so beautifully with the gilded paste. A complete makeover. If you are interested, I bought a non-reflective glass for a small frame. It has blue hydrangeas placed in a copper pot vase and my old school friend wrote me a message inside. I decided in 1999 to frame as is. I wanted to clean the glass the other day, and found myself reading the card inside from left to right. A safe way to keep my treasure. Non-reflective glass is of course a little more pricy but it is lovely, no glare looking at any angle. I noticed when you stitched the pillows/cushions the pins were horizontal try to tack the fabric together pinning vertical in other words, as you stitch, you can take out the pin from the centre and pull it out from left to right. Sometimes you can stitch over the pin without breaking the machine needle, it is a bit getting use to, then again you are so well trained in d.i.y. projects you will know exactly what to do. Just a suggestion and the pillows looks gorgeous with the frayed edges. Thank you the video was most enjoyable. Do have a lovely weekend be alert and take care. Kind regards, Elize.
