I don't think we necessarily "need" a left back right now but every time I see Bournemouth play (which is no more than 8-9 full matches since last season), Kerkez stands out and been impressive. Another LB in the PL who stands out is that Robinson fella at Fulham

Yeah.. Salah always struggles vs Antoine(?) Robinson

We need to remember different managers want players to do different things and play in different ways, Jurgen didn't fancy Moreno, and when he got injured Robbo came in and smashed it. Maybe Kostas it's his time to shine.

Kerkez is a sensational fullback. he performed really well at the Euros over the summer

I'm well into the idea of Kerkez as a new left-back signing. He looks to have what is needed to replace Robbo in the long term. Kerkez and Robbo as our two left-back options sounds good to me. And we have youngsters in that position too for emergencies too. I think Kostas may want to move on for his career now. I think if that were to happen then we'd probably be stronger as a squad. Another Hungarian in our squad is helpful for Szobo too.

Love robbo he embodies everything special about the klopp years but it's quite clear he's had a massive drop off. I wouldn't be so concerned if it was just the offensive side of his game that's on the slide because the days of relying on him an trent to assist every game are long gone but its his defending that is going downhill rapidly. His legs look like they're gone and thats affecting his positional awareness. Top lad robbo but unfortunately it's time

He’s probably a bit too old but I think Estupiñan would be excellent, I think he’s one of the best LBs in the world and he’d fit our system very well.

Well, well, well. Things have gone rather well for the red machine of late. No-one knows quite what to expect when the red machine's in full effect. After the turgid tussle with the disappointingly dull, time-wasting whoppers that play for Arteta's sleep-inducing Arsenal team: "Are you Jose in disguise? Are you Mourinho in disguise?" 🙃😉 - we have gone from strength to strength and I'm overjoyed. I felt there was definitely a third goal in it at two-nil but to go on and bang a fourth goal in past Leverkusen was utterly delightful. It reminded me (if I needed reminding) just what a special club we are in European competitions. They are a good side and we did our confidence no harm whatsoever by beating the Bundesliga champions 4-0. Any type of win now against Villa takes us off into the break in fine style. Given recent results...this international break comes too soon. it's a shame we aren't just going straight into Real Madrid and Man City after Villa. Nevermind. It's going rather well for our red machine under new management. The transition from JK to AS has gone as well as any of us could have hoped for. Top of the PL and maximum CL points. 🤨🤔🙃😃

Arsenal are soul-sappingly unappealing to watch. Liverpool's 0-0 semi final result in the Nou Camp in 2001 to get through was the most defensive I've ever seen a Liverpool side play. But Gary Mac's penalty after Kluivert's handball saw us through in the second leg back on home soil. Johan Cruyff said: "Liverpool betrayed football tonight" after our 0-0 in Barcelona. But we beat them to play Alaves and complete a much-needed treble after our footballing wilderness years throughout the 1990s🤣😉😇 Johan had a cob on about our style of play that night. That's how I feel watching Arsenal at their worst. The unspeakably annoying time-wasting from them is a piss-take. Ruining the flow of the game is bollocks. They were at home in a league game. It wasn't a 1st leg semi-final at Camp Nou. Show a trifle more ambition at home for heaven's sake, Mikel.

Why is the first player that comes to my head in that retro shirt, Tony Warner and not David James?! 😂

Whatever happened to the Polish Messi? Can't remember the last time he was mentioned, but we had high hopes

Cheers for the reply, guess if he left on a free to Cyprus he "may.." of been over hyped. Only seen him on KZbin never in person but the lad seemed to have skill.
