@@Christislord172 Lmao sure. 8 billion people on this planet, but there isn't a chance in hell one of them could predict the ending if they hadn't heard about it even by randomly throwing guesses. The odds of that is astronomical. Like I said, I would be skeptical if someone actually predicted Sleepaway Camp's twist ending (or how they even know a twist is coming), but predicting Saw's twist when you're going in know this movie is known for its twist ending and trying to guess it isn't that far-fetched. I went into Behind Her Eyes knowing there's gonna be a mindblowing twist at the end and spent the whole time trying to guess what that twist was, and I actually saw what's gonna be revealed by the half-point. Though they did throw some very obvious clues in there. But the point is, not only did it kinda ruin the show and my enjoyment of it that I was actively trying to get to the "mindblowing twist" and not actually just sitting there and enjoying the story, but it also made me quickly guess it really sooner, and guess it correctly too.

1. phone only accepts incoming calls. 2. the plot and executions of how charaacters did certain things is pretty straight forward and the film is told in a non-linear fashion, so i'd suggest watching it again and paying closer attention to the finer details. 3. the chances of the drills snapping off by shooting them WITHOUT causing a bullet to bounce off and shoot himself or his partner, or even the victim, was pretty low. Hence it being a last resort. 4. Each trap keeps in mind all possible angles of escape, and for the most part, tries its best to be countered. 5. When under extreme stress, such as a life or death situation, the chances of you being able to think clearly is almost nil, without factoring in exhaustion. 6. Danny Glover was obsessed with pinning the doctor to the jigsaw crimes, hired a photographer to follow the doc and find a reason to pin them to him. Jigsaw knew this, so he forced Zep, an orderly at the doc hospital, to play his game and force the doctor into a situation where the doctor would have to choose his family or his pride by killing the man who was inadvertently setting him up for Danny Glover. Thus, Jigsaw was technicially saving the doctor from being framed by a man who went crazy with obsession.

Another great duo, really love the energy of Tara and Aaron together especially Aarons jumpscares lol! Love to see them continue the series together! So just to clarify some of your questions at the end, even though I'm sure others have already: Tapp had Adam take the pictures of Lawrence because he was convinced Lawrence was the killer and was hoping Adam investigating him would bring evidence forward and prove his theory. The blood was poisoned, Lawrence dipped the filter piece into it so if he had given it to Adam he would have been poisoned (although Adam smoking a cigarette with a clearly bloody filter would be a bit odd though lol). Although I think this film doesn't appeal as much to newer audiences, the film itself is iconic! A very small budget, 18 days of filming total, the fact that it wasn't even going to be released in theatres until they had some screenings and discovered people loved it, the fact they never even thought it would go further than the first film but spawned a whole franchise. Just everything about Saw is epic to me, even including the not so good movies lol

I took a course on script writing in college, and one of the first things they teach you, is if you have a heavy narrative in mind, try and sum it up to one single sentence. doesn't have to sum up the plot of the movie, it only has to be one sentence that sets up the plot. I can imagine the line for this movie being something like "Two men wake up chained to their ankles and no memory of how they got there."

I watched this for the first time when I was 15 years old and I didn’t sleep soundly for days after that! But what I do genuinely love about these movies is that the villain John Kramer aka Jigsaw is A) Is the first “slasher” character who has never technically killed anyone himself, his victims lack the will to live; and B) He has an incredibly powerful message that he is trying to teach these people which is to cherish your life. That most people have sadly lost our Survival Instinct.

And now you get to watch the next 12 movies to continue the amazing story. My wife and I went to see this when it launched just on a Halloween kick when it first came out, and we were absolutely blown away by it, and have watched everyone since thenbecause of the story. It’s amazing.

Danny Glover was obsessed with the idea that the Dr was the Jigsaw Killer, and having been a good detective once, would have been as close to their home as he could have been while monitoring the situation, just waiting for the Dr to make a mistake that he could then pounce upon and redeem himself.. Glad you got to "enjoy" this film with us, and all i can say is, buckle up for a ride, if you are going to continue this train.. ;) Hehehehe ( "enjoy", as, though a fun ride, you seemed to be a bit scared and squeamish the whole time LOL though some people DO Enjoy having the crap scared out of them.. LOL )

I saw this movie in theatre back in 2004. It was really inventive story telling and that reveal at the end, I don't think many people saw that coming.

Love the channel, but I still can't believe some of you guys and gals, haven't seen a lot of the movies y'all watch. Now granted, there's plenty of movies I haven't seen, but I think other than a few you guys have watched and reviewed, I literally grew up watching the majority of the ones y'all haven't seen. But it's all good. Keep up the great work

Something I think is funny is the subtext in the police suspecting Gordon is Jigsaw- that this full-time doctor with a wife, a kid, AND an affair partner has the time and energy to design, build and implement complex death traps on a regular basis.

I don't like horror movies at all, but the saw movies I've always found very interesting. The concept is genius. I think the escape room ideas (fron today) was build on the ideas from these movies.
