I love this movie. I just watched it last night. This is the guest movie that i got introduced to Arnold. Fun facts: • Filmmakers recruited local Astoria kids to be extras in the school. They were paid $35 a day. The filmmakers auditioned more than 2,000 children for the 30 kids in Kimble's class. • Ivan Reitman invented the five "Reitman Rules of Filmmaking" for the kids: Listen, act natural, know your character, don't look in the camera, and be disciplined. • Jason Reitman: the boy making out with the girl that Kimble interrupts during the real fire drill. • During an off day from filming, Arnold Schwarzenegger flew to Los Angeles to film the teaser trailer for Terminator 2: Judgment Day. •Bill Murray and Patrick Swayze were originally offered the role of John Kimble.

The little girl who first pets the ferret was my sorority sister, who actually grew up in Astoria. She said it was a trip.

They based parts of the school in silent hill on the school in this movie which is cool. I have a fondness for this movie, junior and twins.

I love this movie so much. The first 15 minutes of this film is some of the best badass Arnold character building ever.

I believe I saw Arnold mention this is his favorite movie due to both being his departure from the typical action hero movies to this, and also how much fun he had on set with the kids and overall
