Penelope Ann Miller apparently acted like a diva and the crew disliked working with her. Peter Kent, Arnold Schwarzenegger's stunt double, decided to get back at her by giving Schwarzenegger, unbeknownst to the actor, pasta with tomato sauce made with juiced vegetables on a day when he knew Schwarzenegger and Miller would be shooting in an enclosed space. Miller had no choice but to endure Schwarzenegger's uncontrollable farting and, as an unintended consequence, Schwarzenegger had to deal with the discomfort of trying and failing to hold it all in.

IIRC this was quite heavily censored for TV. Not only were some of the violent scenes omitted (I.E the scene where Crisp assaults the guy outside the toy shop after the guy had refused to sell him the last toy), a lot of dialogue was cut (I.E references to penises, vaginas, etc) and some of the swearing was not just simply cut but dubbed with less offensive alternatives, e.g. "Son of Bitch" was abbreviated to "S.O.B" and dubbed over. There's probably more that I'm forgetting. But I did find it shocking how much had been censored when I finally saw the the uncut version on VHS years after seeing the censored daytime TV edit.

I hate to ask, but does anyone know the music title that starts playing in the background at 0:27? I know i heard it somewhere before and it will be quite obviously once i know the answer. It is just living rent free in my head right now.

I never really thought about it until I watched these recent NC episodes back to back, but a lot of movies really do fall back on that Liar Revealed trope to create late act drama.

Lmao. The pee wee clip you stuck in the fire drill scene really got me.

I saw this movie as a child and till this day, my mom still thinks that “I’m the party pooper” is still one of Arnold’s best lines.

The film is fine as it is, but here is how I would fix it: Schwarzenegger is not a cop investigating a crime or after any criminals. However the child abuse moment and when he hits the dad is still in the film. He is a substitute teacher who is filling in for the woman who is his wife and them not pretending to be a couple and she is an actual teacher, Schwarzenegger’s character usually fills in for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade classes not the little kids and the Kindergarten class he covers is his wife’s class,

2:31 I actually had that Alien toy that explodes into pieces as a kid! I once made a friend of mine panic when I pushed the button as I was handing it to her-she thought she managed to break it by handling it wrong. I had to reassemble it and show off the gimmick again to get her to calm down.

Could you please do these as part of FanScription • What if Disney’s Cinderella didn’t make it to the ball (Disney’s Cinderella 1950movie) • What if Bambi's Mother survived (Disney’s Bambi) • What if Flik and Atta had children (A Bug's Life 2) • The Incredibles vs The Sinister Six (Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Sandman and Vulture) • What if DreamWorks’s Rise of the Guardians 2 happened? • What if Disney’s Tarzan and friends found an unground world with dinosaurs and a lost civilization of people who mistake Jane as a Goddess (Disney’s Tarzan 2) • What if Elsa was the main villain of Disney’s Frozen • Batman vs The Green Goblin • Spider-man vs The Joker • What if The Evil Queen (from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 1937movie) had won? • What if we fixed Planet of the Apes (2001movie)

There was tv show that came out after the Tarzan movie called The Legend of Tarzan. It was syndicated on ABC probably Saturday Mornings but Sundays on what used to be UPN. There was an episode where Tarzan says he knows about a place underground where there are dinosaurs. Jane's father tried to steal an egg and a baby T-Rex hatched. No Jane-being-confused-for-a-Goddess tho.

Great movie but who's it made for?. I saw a censored version when I was a kid then saw it as an adult and the violence really shocked me. Entertaining as hell though.
