I’ve been watching your vids for years and you’ve taught me loads. All this work, running a farm, keeping the missus happy, 3/4 kids, making these videos,… jeez mate, how do you do it all ? Do you ever slip away up the pub with the lads for a gallon ? Fair play to you mate

I just watched a video of concrete drying and I bloody loved it.

It looks amazing, and even though it’s a barn conversion it really does suite as a floor. I am sure rugs and mats will be also play a big part on the floor.

The cinematography or whatever you call your filming and editing is simply spectacular 8:15 well well done and congrats getting to this milestone.

Don't think I've ever heard you sound as tired as that at the end of a day's work! The relief from all the stress was probably a major part of it to be fair. It is amazing to watch you single handedly (well, as a family) take on and progress this monster project.

Still can't get over that sit-on power float, brilliant job!

Easy to overlook the high craft involved in a seemingly rough industrial process. Serious skills and experience at play there!

Beautifully filmed. Everything you do is a learning experience for me - not just the skills but also your resilience. Wish you every success.

You can see the relief just leaving your body at the end there, must feel so good to see this part through and complete. Just remember to try and stop and enjoy all this Tim! Before you know it your be all done ❤

Well done…. I’m doing a build in Italy (mostly) on my own and when you hit milestones…. It is close to tears sometimes. It’s hard graft. But worth it when you get there! THAT’S WHY WE KEEP DOING IT! Well done 👍👍😀

So, is the most stressful stage of the build out of the way now? I think it's a yes. And will you finish each video with 'If you can do it yourself and if you can't, pay someone else to and video it'? I think you should try to go back to what you used to say. Good video.

Why are you wrapping it up for a year?
@Yaketyyak212 күн бұрын
Protecting the floor from damage while working on the next stage.
@bertbergers91712 күн бұрын
They want to protect the floor during the rest of the build. Since they want a polished concrete finish, they can't have it scratched from falling tools, pebbles in the soles of a boot, dragging lumber in and out and so on and so on. Why a year. Well he says or less in the video. It will be protected for as long as it takes to build internal walls, do electric, plumbing, plastering, the trades, then finish the internals (paint, wallpaper, i dunno) and finally reveal the floor again.
@EdgeRowing2 күн бұрын
He means protecting the floor whilst they carry on - just the floor being wrapped up
@Robbo-z7t2 күн бұрын
I thought that as well … like shit / no more amazing videos for a year ! I love my Sunday night viewing - thank god it’s only the floor being protected and work continues

I thought the same thing and was resigned to having to watch Antiques Roadshow on Sunday night.
