Man I really hope they bring back dungeon duos from Mario Party 4. Also, some of the old minigame modes would be cool, like the decathlon from 5,6 and 7 and the minigame circuit from mp5. And according to GX’s analysis vid, we also know of 2 more minigames that weren’t shown, being Cake Factory from mp2 and Catch you Letter from MP6. Im sooooo hyped for this game

I'm curious how they're going to deal with Tug - O - War. I figured that any of the Control Stick rotating games from Mario Party 1 would be a lock in not being included due to the hand burning lawsuits. I can't imagine it'll be a button rotating minigame again, rather I'm expecting it to turn into a button masher but only time will tell

It would be extremely dangerous for the Joy-Con sticks, and even the pro controller sticks, so they better make this a button mashing minigame. I mean, they have a similar minigame in Super Mario Party that does use buttons

Mario Party 8 has several mini games that use the wii remote control on the side as a traditional controller. It's sorry for them to say that it only has a motion sensor..

It’s also confirmed that you can actually extend the turn count even after the game has stated if you wanted to. Not sure how this works exactly yet, but that’s something that has been revealed.

More than the missing minigames, I am more curious about the other 2 boards that they will put, I would like to pirate land or westerland from the MP2, and from the MP3 the ice one, but I think there will be a secret map (bowser) so that each game has 2 boards in this new.

I wish superstars was more GameCube mario party focused than N64. I know I'm biased here because I grew up with the GameCube and Wii games. I think there should of been 4 N64 boards and 4 GameCube boards and reintroduce orb/capsule spaces and orb shops and capsule machines. That's just my opinion but I hope in the next NEW Mario party (Super Mario Party 2) that Orbs make a comeback. There could be classic ones and brand new ones with new effects never seen before. I'm happy that we are going in the right direction but this is just my overall outlook of this game.

I'm hoping that all they showed was bonus content, and that there is a whole new story with lots of new maps, but big maps and classic style, the game play was awesome and they kinda messed up by changing it so hopefully they will go back to their roots.

I hope for a proper story mode like from Mario party 3 to 8 I might be in the minority here that loved the adventure slash story mode my favorite was Mario party 3 story mode I laughed when Waluigi whooped bosses butt lol he was the last character battle I was surprised lol I thought as a kid Waluigi was introduced in Mario party 3 didn't learn til years later he was introduced in Mario tennis 64.

The player team you can have a buddy. For super mario party for the Nintendo switch that might be removed I hope it didn't get Remove. It was good and bad you did know what character was good to be the best to help you. I hope they bring back step it up mode for Mario party 9 mode and garden battle maybe boss battle. Zak,I have a question. Will I be able to play this with the Gamecube Style(USB)Switch Controller? Cause you say it works with button controllers.And you only mention the Pro Controller & the Switch Lite.And I have the joycons and,the USB Gamecube Style Switch Controller.And will it say what button to press if I do use a Gamecube Style(USB)Switch Controller like will it say “Y to (Insert action here)”or “X to(Insert action here.This question don’t apply to not just me,but everyone that prefers and feel more comfortable with the Gamecube Style Controllers.Also I like your videos,keep up the good work!😁

Thank you! Any controller that works on the switch as a pro controller qualifies. So for example, the power A GameCube controllers (or any GameCube-style switch branded controller) WILL work. If the controller works on the switch, it will work in the game! The one question mark still present is the GameCube controller adapter. I’m not sure if official, original GameCube controllers will work through the adapter because they haven’t confirmed it. But if you have a GameCube-styled Nintendo switch controller then yes, that will work!

I'm just a bit scared of the low prices on the shops. I really think they should let us costumise that. Also, I don't get how online with randoms will work.

I disagree. I think the prices are just right. The Skeleton key is never a better item than, say, the Double Dice, so it makes sense that it costs less. In fact, some prices have been increased from the usual MP3 standard. For example, the Warp Block and the Golden Pipe.

@@Mr2Secs Well, in that case I hope you are right. I'm just scared of having a too big number of coins per match like in Super Mario Party due to the lack of expensive things to buy. I still think a costumize option should exist, though.

@@dg_777player5 Well, the prices for items and stars are finally reasonable, so that's fixed. However, round minigames still reward 2nd and 3rd place, so take that in mind. At least the Golden Pipe now costs 25 coins.
