Seen Ted Nugent in concert many times and I enjoy his music. This song and Great White Buffalo are classic. I met him at sporting goods store in Waco a few years ago and I was blown away by how nice he was. I'm looking at bows and I saw him several feet away. I want to tell him how much I Liked his music. I walk up to him and told him I was a huge fan. He talked to me like we were friends. I'm having a conversation with a rock legend about bows and bow hunting for about ten minutes. For a true Rock legend to spend the time to talk to me about one of his passions was awesome to say the least. I still get pissed off when people say negative things about him. He's honest and if the liberals don't like it that's their problem. We're just tired of them pushing their Socialistic ideas on the rest of us. Thanks for the music Ted God Bless.

I don’t give a shit about his politics or rantings, just as Roger Waters has some radical views, but I still listen to Pink Floyd. I’ve always thought that Nugent was one of, maybe THE greatest and most original of rock guitarists. I just make it a point not to get my political and social beliefs from guitar players, comedians or reality show hosts.

As a former liberal I have to say since I've seen how corporate America works. If Ted was a bleeding heart liberal, I'm pretty sure not many would be calling him underrated. Just my observation. He was definitely an early target of cancel culture, but they failed. Just like everything they are trying will fail. But to each his own! Peace!

People say they hate Ted Nugent. Why? Because he speaks his mind? Doesn't he have the right to do that, just like everyone else? The people I hate are the ones who want to restrict others. You don't like hunting, so you want it taken away from those that do enjoy it. If you don't like hunting, then don't hunt. No one is forcing you to do anything. Same goes for the second amendment; If you don't like guns, don't buy one. No one is forcing you to buy a gun, and the idea that law abiding citizens who own guns are the problem is completely ludicrous. Ted is correct when he points out how idiotic the liberal mindset is. If you "hate" Uncle Ted, it's because you hate the truth. All liars hate the truth.

There I was back in the wild again. I felt right at home, where I be-long. I had the feeling, coming over me again. Just like it happened so many times be-fore. eh. The Spirit of the Woods is like an old good friend. Makes me feel warm and good in-side. I knew his name and it was good to see him again. Cause in the wind he's still a-live. Oh Fred Bear Walk with me down the trails again. Take me back, back where I be-long. Fred Bear I'm glad to have you at my side my friend And I'll join you in the big hunt before too long Before too long. It was kinda dark, another misty dusk It came from a tangle down be-low. I tried to re-mem-ber everything you taught me so well. I had to de-cide which way to go. Was I a-lone or in a hunter's dream. Cause the moment of truth was here and now. I felt his touch I felt his guiding hand. The buck was mine forever more!! Oh Fred Bear Walk with me down the trails again. Take me back, back where I be-long. Fred Bear I'm glad to have you at my side my friend And I'll join you in the big hunt before too long Before too long. We're not alone when we're in the great outdoors We got his spirit We got his soul He will guide our steps and our arrows home The restless spirit still roams Oh Fred Bear Walk with me down the trails again. Take me back, back where I be-long. Fred Bear I'm glad to have you at my side my friend And I'll join you in the big hunt before too long Before too long.

For anyone who is interested in becoming truly a better bowman, Fred Bear is an icon, and cool for Nugent to acknowledge that and support an American tradition. Just Google some Bear videos and see for yourself.

I’m looking around and wondering who can make electric come to life this way? Joe Bonamasso maybe? But, he’s more Rock Blues, I’m thinking Nugent is the greatest Rock guitarist that has ever lived.

Saw Ted 3 times during the 70s. Great concerts always. In the 80s , he and Roger Mears were on the Budweiser racing team at Pikes Peak Meadows. They were taking a break. I said, Hey Mr. Nugent, can I get your autograph. He walked about 50ft. to me and signed my racing program. Nice guy. Got some Great pictures too.
