I don't know who needs this or if anyone will see it but a great line that's worked for me quite a few times now is whenever I see a nice car as he mentioned the "67 mustang" what I'll say is "hey man is that your mustang in the driveway?" Assuming the answer is yes I then say "hey man looks great, I got a 09 Carolla parked down the street incase you were looking to trade" this line has broken down that sales wall almost completely with everytime I've gotten a chance to use it

Adam, I’ve been in the industry for 2 years now. I started by using all of your teachings. Word for word exact method. Now I will be very honest and say that I have done ok but I’m not killing it and definitely not “smashing my income goals”. I’m local in Colorado just like you and everyone and there mom is using your pitch, your strategy your everything. All is companies sound the same. I literally got told the other day that I one your guys already stopped by and thought this is the first anyone has been here from my company. And then I thought, I bet someone had the same pitch as me. And all these teachings mean absolutely nothing in storm areas. I Will be lucky to maybe get 2-3 roofs before every company in this state shows up. Now the Westminster storm that just happened my team was there right away and we did very well this time. I’m sorry for the ramble but I have felt that I just need to share this with you and honestly to the millions of companies here in Colorado.
@TheRoofStrategist3 жыл бұрын
Hey George, Thanks for being real my dude. I'm sorry to hear that you're not killing it like you want to be. I really want to see you succeed my dude. Truly. I have a deep reply coming so buckle up. 1st -- this industry isn't for everyone. I don't know you well enough to say if that's the case. I'm sure you've found some people CRUSHING IT while others are hurting badly. I would ask yourself, do you want to be doing this? If the answer is no - that's OK. No judgement there. Maybe a different career path would be best. Yes -- that's hard to hear. And at the same time - if you're pissed at me right now for asking that, then this likely means you ARE cut out for this industry and hopefully you'll get a breakthrough to see some magic happen :) 2nd - I have quite a few clients in CO that are growing like gangbusters and training their teams on my strategies. 3rd - Hearing "one of your guys stopped by already" has happened to be numerous times in my career - even when NO ONE from our company showed up. That has nothing to do with the pitch. That's homeowners rejecting you OR being confused because too many people stopped by. 4th - Not everyone is using my stuff. From what I've researched, there are about 100,000 roofing companies. If you conservatively estimate 2-3 employees each on the LOW side, that's 200k - 300k reps. So don't beat yourself up thinking you are sinking in the mix - you aren't. 5th - "All these teachings mean nothing in storm areas" -- I have to respectfully disagree. I have numerous clients in Dallas (the most competitive market in the US) who are crushing it. I also have a client from IL who called me this morning who has 3x'd in size and is doing $1.8M/mo with his small team working SMALL storms. I have boat loads of testimonials from reps working hurricanes (even more competitive) who are following and crushing. 6th - The Westminster storm is worked HARD. As you know, we've had a drought here for the last 2 years. So everyone and their mother is working what they can. Now -- all of that was in direct response to your statements. Why? Because sometimes when we are not feeling wondeful, we need a tune-up. If you can lay it on me of what specifically isn't working for you - I'll happily respond to support YOU and everyone else who is following along. Let me know my dude. I wanna see you not only BEING successful, but FEELING successful.

@@TheRoofStrategist Great response, would like to add that you have stated in your videos following along with your videos word for word may not work in every area. all these techniques and pitch ideas are guidelines and tools to help through your sales process. If your not crushing your sales Goals its Not Adams fault, We all have to be accountable for what we do and how we do it. sometimes the best thing to do is look at yourself and figure out what you can do to be more approachable and trustworthy.
@iamgoldpenguin4683 жыл бұрын
@@JD.Breaks the pitch that seems to work best for me is simple-don’t pitch it. Start a conversation,ask questions and get them talking. Tell them who you are and why you’re there then go off that. If you’ve been doing this a while then you should know what you’re doing,but it never hurts to try something else. My pitch typically sounds like this (I typically ask how people are doing when they open the door) “Hi my name is chase I work for ##### and I’m working this area with a few of your neighbors. I was driving by and I noticed your roof looks about the same age as some of the others I’ve been working with. Have you had anyone take a look at your roof?” And boom. If yes,follow it up and set yourself up to outdo the competition. Whoever did the inspection before is irrelevant and if you know there is damage present you can easily insert yourself into the situation. If they say no,you already set yourself up for a follow up. Every company is different and some people don’t start off with free inspections. This has worked on hundreds of homes for me,give it a try and tell me how it works out

Man, I have been doing roofing sales for a few month and recently me and other guys were sent to Minneapolis because of the hail storm back in May. It is middle of September now and homeowners are mostly not interested. Lots of them already had their claims denied and don’t wanna try a second chance. Is that what usually happens after 3-4 month since the storm happens or it is because of the kids go back to school and HO get more busy? By the way Thank you for your lessons💪
@TheRoofStrategist2 жыл бұрын
Yo! Great questions. YES it can happen that people get burned out. And going back to school there's a lull in business sometimes. BUT the 2nd wave comes right before winter. Everyone who dragged their feet. All the stormers leave to go home or to the next storm. And the "clean up" begins!

Stop the complimenting. It’s a major turnoff and everyone can see through the BS. It also prolongs the pitch and delays your ability to get to the reason why you’re there.
