Same for me. Lower middle class guy here..dad taught me good values mom always supported me as her son but I had to figure out life myself. Worked 60 hours a week from 18 to 22 years old always hungry for the next opportunity while my rich friends were going to college. I started to think I was getting left behind. Then at 23 a friend of mine introduced me to roofing sales and I thought it was a weird idea at first but like I said I was always looking for a better opportunity and the idea of getting out what you put into something made sense to me. I worked as a salesmen and now own my own roofing company and am 30 years old living the life I wanted and love. My same friends who have degrees and loads of debt see what I’m doing and think it came by chance and I’m in a weird industry but in private they complain about their job to me and how they wish they could do what I did. I tell them they can but they won’t make the change and just do it. They are conditioned to be a hamster on the wheel rather than the master of their own life. Awesome video today Adam!!

🙌When I first got it into it, the $ was so unbelievable. I literally didn't know what to do with it. When people asked what I did and I told them, they didn't really believe me or even get it. Plus it was fun as hell.

Hello from middle TN! I am new to the industry and I'm blessed to be getting on with a company where the owner really cares about his sales reps and paying them right. I'm taking a leap of faith leaving the fake security of my hourly wage, dead end job to so this. Hearing William's story is so inspiring! I have the entrepreneurial attitude and I'm always hustling as a single parent and a homeowner myself. I already have addresses nearby planned out for when I get my business cards and company truck and I am so excited to get out there and start helping these folks!

He's not the only one who has used this industry for MASSIVE growth - personally, professionally, and financially. There's a "formula" to succeeding in this industry and you CAN do it. Hey Adam, I'm about to start working for a storm restoration roofing company and I have a question. They say that their top salesperson made $480,000 in 8 months. Is that even possible? Have you heard of such a high income in this industry? The company has been around 18 years and claims to be one of the largest companies in storm restoration. The company has great reviews and all but that level of income seems almost impossible. Any thoughts on this?

YES it is possible. NO it is not something you should "count on." And it is often not a recurring income year after year. There are FOR SURE sales reps out there doing this year over year, but they are the top 1% in the nation. The earning potential in this industry is insane. Really, the sky is the limit. So long as you're aligned with a reputable company who takes care of customers, you, and fulfills their payment promises, you can earn a boatload and have fun doing it :) The last company I ran a training for... their top rep was doing $350k/year pretty consistently.

Yeah I told my step mom I'm going to be in roofing sales [I didn't tell her ill be a roofing inspector] and she was like ehhh door knocking isn't a secure job. Little does she know Ill get 1k on average for each inspection I do and I'll have an average of 10 inspections per week, thats 10k max a week 40k max a month ill be blessed if I make 10k in one month
