Hi Adam, My brother is a roofing contractor. He sent me this and wrote, "This is gold." I like and agree with your ideas and excellent questions for prospects. I have a few suggestions though. I consider the word, "educate" to be a poor choice. It's condisending. Try anything but that word: advise, clarify, etc... You are a very dynamic speaker. I have a Bachelor's in speech communication. Use your hands less and slow down the speed of your speech a bit. Both of these are distracting. They dilute your message. Over all great job. Thanks

Colleen, I'm failing to see what your reason for watching his vids are if you're not a roofer. It appears you're condEsCendingly attempting to "educate" a man whose skills on this topic yield him well into 6 figures.

@@synergythruart Constructive criticism doesn't diminish the man. If his ego doesn't interfere (like yours) he can see his talent increase. I complimented his skills at the beginning and end of my post. Six figures or seven is irrelevant. I know a bit about roofing, but a lot about public speaking. His response though gracious subtly implied, if you see fault then you should look to another format. He either disagrees with my input or can't admit publicly that my point is valid. Frankly, he doesn't know me so why should he trust me? Only that truth is easy to recognize. Before it sets you free, you need only get out of your own way.

How do you overcome the objection of “I’ll get my roof done next year due to financial reasons”?
@TheRoofStrategist5 жыл бұрын
For a storm scenario, you need to educate them on the limitations set by the insurance company who will only pay for the claim within 12 months of date of loss (and some insurance companies are less). Also, if the deductible is their concern, I would encourage them to sign the contingency agreement so you can get not only the roof paid for but supplemental/cosmetic damages paid for. If they didn't want to do the cosmetic work and only focus on the roof, they could apply the ACV of the cosmetic damage to the roof/deductible.

Adam whats your pitch when trying to land a re-roof with no insurance?
@TheRoofStrategist3 жыл бұрын
Great question! For both storm and retail door knocking, I follow the "SLAP" Formula that teach. For presenting and closing deals, I follow my CARPARK formula. Note: For canvassing for retail, I stick with an open ended question at the door such as, "When was the last time you had your roof inspected and routine maintenance conducted?" Usually the homeowner gets caught on their heels thinking about. That helps start the conversation AND establish the need for your inspection. Watch the SLAP formula here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqarpWOcp81jjbc CARPARK closing formula here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWq4fKywetBrb9U Hope this helps! Comment on any videos. I read and reply to all of them.
