I've owned 4 rotties in past 25 years and WOULDNT OWN ANOTHER BREED hands down they are the most loyal fearless affectionate DOGS EVER !!!! I do not keep my rottie in a Kennel when we're gone but let him roam and protect my house I live on a farm with let him run while I'm home he is a little aggressive towards other male dogs probably cause he is not fixed but great with our chickens and neighbors cows in the back yard every other day we go on a 2 mile run we're he follows me on the quad I love the breed have to be quite stern and let them know your the boss

THANK YOU! I REALLY appreciate your channel and everything you offer. I've been a "dog person" all my life. It's been years since my last - a Pitbull mix (a rescue) _ "Gretchen". Now, I'm recently married, and we have a Maine Coon cat. We both love her - but - I'm encouraging my wife that someday we should have a dog. For MANY reasons. My wife has never been in any situation where a dog was a part of the household. Her side of the family is all about cats. I've had cats - I love cats. I'm telling her that a Rottweiler is the perfect dog - for loyalty, affection, protection, etc. I'm using your videos to help acclimate her to the world of dog ownership. Again, thank you.

I needed this video. I have a 2 month old female rottie puppy that I’m currently trying to crate and potty train. It’s not going terrible but there’s lots of whining in the crate - to be fair it’s a bit small but I’m going to buy a big one tomorrow so she can use it up to adulthood. It breaks my heart a little to see how sad she gets in there but I just remember that this is going to help her live inside with us in a clean environment and will be able to spend time with us indoors instead of having an outdoor dog because they’re not potty or crate trained.

That is the biggest kennel I have ever seen. Love it. My puppy Rott prefers nothing in her kennel except maybe the one toy she drug in there lol. She also welcomes the chihuahuas just a very social girl. Now thats a trick to feed after you open the kennel. I always take my girl outside first. I am always worried about how long to keep them in a the Kennel? Im worried someone would come in the yard and steal her. The Kennel does calm her, you are correct sir. The Kennel is used when we cant take her like grocery shopping. I let my pups sleep with me but my Rott prefers the carpet at the foot of the bed. When she sleeps during the day you will find her where I am at my feet. I dont know if you mentioned this or not, but as long as she can see me she is fine when we are home. She usually what you showed and lays down for a nap when I am gone as I have doggy cameras lol. I like to look in on my dogs when Im out and and about.

We did that with our Rottie’s and all of our friends thought it mean. BUT I’ll tell ya if he got scared of weather where do you think he ran too, yup his crate it was his safe place but nobody understands. Soon Zeus is an adult and he loved lying in his crate outside now just snoring away lol so I totally agree with you on that! You’re my favorite Rottie channel I watch all of your videos and I can’t get enough 🤎🖤 This breed is special to me, I grew up with my Moms favorite dogs St. Bernards in all we had 3 awesome 👏🏻 dogs and beautiful but when I met my hubby he had Magnum Rottie puppy only 2 months old and after he passed we got Chevy and after her we got Zeus our Big Boy. So protective and so so sweet. But don’t be a stranger walking in our gate! His main concern was Our safety, we miss him so much. Still healing ❤️🩹 watching you both with them and Cozy of course really has helped me a lot. So thank you both Mom and Dad you guys are awesome owners and they are part of your family life and love 🖤🤎♥️

Dogs are den animals. Look at the kennel as a den. It’s natural for them to go into a kennel when they want. It’s important to never use the kennel as punishment. It’s the opposite. It’s their safe place. My Doberman goes into her kennel when there’s a thunderstorm. Early on as a young pup, she had to sleep in there overnight b/c it’s unsafe to let her run around the house unsupervised. Great video on kennel training, why it’s important and reinforcing positive behavior.. not punishing ’bad’ behavior. 👍

I’m going get me a rottweiler pup 🐶 when my income tax comes in and I will definitely look 👀 at your videos again once I get my rottie pup. So when my puppy do come in I will get a crate and I know my puppy won’t be able to hold his urine for a long period of time so if I have to work from 9am-5pm it’s common sense that he will use the bathroom in the crate won’t he socialize that with using the bathroom in the crate all the time cuz I work different shifts, sometimes I work 7am -3pm, sometimes 9am-5pm and sometimes I close the store and I know he can’t go all day without food and water so if you could show me how to do that then that would be marvelous Collin Brackin!!!
