Outstanding video, you have such a great way of explaining things , you know for years I was of the opinion rottys were vicious dogs but in last year I’ve fallen in love with them and your videos have helped so much , I really think I’m going to get one or maybe two so they have company all the time , I’m just trying to make sure I can afford everything I need at first instead of getting the dogs then struggling to get stuff so hopefully I’m not too long away from being able to get them 😊

Rottweilers are so smart and so eager to please us that it doesn't usually take long to potty train them. I have to admit I used treats a few times but the down side to that is then they expect one every time. Great video. Always love seeing the dogs being themselves when ur trying to film. The good, bad, and the ugly dont hold back. Love knowing I'm not alone in dealing with some of the stuff my boy tries to pull.

As a Rottweiler owner for over 23 years, I have to say you training style is spot on. Rottweilers want to please their owners and positive reinforcement will get you ahead of the curve. Proper diet is key and patience will help not only you but your pup as well. Again great job on the video and thank you for letting the world known how wonderful the Rottweilers are. :)

Then he’ll come in the house and use it. How can I stop him from doing that

I’m so glad I seen this video! I just picked my big pup pup up a couple weeks ago and I think the potty training him is causing anxiety with the yelling and he is starting to run away from me and actually pee’d while sitting down broke my heart 🥺🥺🥺. I know I’m terrible. This video helped tons. But with the celebrations going on he’s not really trying to potty outside with all the noise going on so he does it in the house . Normally does GREAT for a 10 week old honestly when he’s outdoors . These few days has just been hectic because he is NOT trying to really go outside to pee

Love your videos. We have an 11 week old Rottie female (love her), we've had her since she was 8 weeks. She appears to be almost impossible to house train. We take her out after naps, eating, playing, etc. Even in mid act of going to the bathroom indoors..... Nothing, she wants to lay in the yard, eat grass, chew on rocks or just sit and watch you. We stay out 20, 30 minutes or more.... Nothing. Bring her in the house and within 5 minutes or so, she's in the act of going #1 or #2. Take her out... nothing. My previous Rottie girl almost took to house training within days. While I realize no 2 are alike, I have no idea how to convince her to go to the bathroom outside. We stand, don't interact, she sits or lies down and starts chewing on grass or rocks,lol. What am I missing?

My puppy (3months) is so so stubborn she will hold it until the middle of the night and go in the crate and smear it all around and lay in it and not even whine until after. Mind you this is after being taken outside all day multiple times a day. Basically the whole day revolves around her using the bathroom.
@jamesking7952 Жыл бұрын
My girl was the same but she won't go in the cage so I took advantage of that so I was feeding her 3 times a day each feeding 10 to 15 sometimes 30 minutes with playtime. I would then take her out this forced her to go 1 and 2 😂🤣

@@TheRottyRanch Shadows doing great. Babies eating puppy kibble drinking TONS of water on their own. Five wks today. Shadow once in a while when not running or hopping to escape the monsters will give up the ghost an sit/lay for them to nurse occasionally. They follow/ chase her to get on a teet. Their crazy large 4/5 days ago I noticed one her nipples literally bitten off. Lol. Not the whole thing like layer or two of skin tho. Ouch. Pups are learning the potty outside thing. Starting to wake up an head for dog door at least. During the day we’ll today. First time a few woke up went right our door an laid their waste on the door Matt. That’s a big plus in my book. I figure no more then another week an they will be using dog door. I’m sure my timing on weening an training are fast even too soon. But. I’m dealing with what their all giving me. Seems my world is often an commonly unorthodox. Lol. 2 just got up both went to water bowl an then one beat feet for dog door an went out as I’m typing. Other one was following an found piece of napkin to get distracted. No idea where that came from. Bored in seconds went back to puppy pile climbed on top of 3 an back to sleep. Fun stuff. I could do this all day !!! Oh wait. I do. Everyday. Hope your well. I’ll e-mail ya current status right now what their up to

@TheRottyRanch3 жыл бұрын
eh, I disagree :) your dog will not be potty trained FULLY by 7 days. bring home at 8 weeks, 4 months to fully potty train. Your dog might understand what it is, but not fully potty trained and being able to be left for a 7 hour day in the home without accidents, their bladder is simply not strong enough or big enough to. :) thanks!
