Ravager is good, alt fire pops shields and if there are any grenades where it lands the alt fire will actually detonate them. Still doesn't excuse the ravager being poor but it's a good combo weapon unlike the AR and can temporarily lock off a zone.

The ravager is hated because it has too little damage and too easily dodged, the aoe is too situational, even in a halo game. If the large majority of the entire player base agree certain weapons are bad and not worth picking up then changes are needed. I can use them just fine, i can use stuff like the commando, a very controversial gun. It has a lower ttk than the BR, but because of its high skill requirement people dont like it. And I agree, if so many weapons dont feel rewarding enough in an arena game to the majority of players, changes are needed.

Fun fact, mjolnir is spelled like that because the rune that makes the "y" sound, jera (ᛃ, pronounced yeh-ruh) is usually romanized to the English letter J, and can also make the appropriate soft g sound. Basically, Norse words are spelled Like That because we're turning a phonetic, or sound-based alphabet, into a non-phonetic alphabet, and it gets weird.

I know the AR is a mouthful to use, but trust me when I say it is incredibly reliable when combined with the Sidekick. To elaborate, the AR provides very consistent mid Range damage with a deceptively large magazine, but is rather slow. The Side kick can shit out damage, but unless you are a god who can laser out 10 headshots in a row its impossible to use, to which I even thought the pistol was useless. That is until I realize the Sidekick has a neat little thing called quickdraw which means it swaps out almost instantly. This means that can they stack on each other by having the AR soften up a target, then follow up by dumping 8 rounds of the sidekick in 2 seconds, oddly notable that I score a lot of headshots doing this. You can get about 3 kills with some consistency before needing to reload either weapon, but obviously reload even if you only ever shoot one bullet if you feel safe.
