Asda sardines in tomato sauce! I put them in savoury rice - diced onion, tomato (or kiwi fruit if I’m feeling posh!), Thai sweet chilli sauce and a liberal sprinkling of black pepper. A ‘one dish’ dinner!

AFAIK the Bahamas are basically a series of coral reefs on top of a set of sea mounts. So the shallow bottom is probably coral with a layer of silty sand over the top. It’s probably good for holding an anchor except in super high winds. You are indeed fortunate to be in paradise and enjoying some excellent weather.

The sand here is extremely soft and good holding but I expect in high winds everyone would be dragging anchor! It's an amazing place and we are very lucky to be here 👌

We have seen a handful of cruise ships mainly at night. They just cruised by bright as a button everyone enjoying themselves eating at restaurants and dancing in clubs 😄

We fill out some forms prior to leaving the last territory letting the new territory know that we are coming. Sometimes you can just turn up with your clearance papers from the last country. We would love to replace our table with a proper drop leaf one day 🤞 Cheers Robert

A very professional job of sailing lads ! 😊. By the looks of Nassau I think you probably got the best on offer with the Maccas! But I guess the thundering hordes ready to come stampeding off those seagoing gin palaces would disagree with me !😢 My advice FWIW would be to be sure not to overlook the attractions Europe has to offer. I have been following a number of other KZbinrs around the Netherlands and Scandinavia for example and I'm mightily impressed by their experiences 😊 ! Just my suggestion. BTW, grey nurse sharks can't hurt you unless you stick your hand in their jaws. Reason? They can't open their mouths wide enough to bite people. At least, so say the experts! 😂

@@TheSailingBrothers shame they don’t celebrate the pirate state… it may have been founded by criminals but it was also years ahead of its time… tolerant of gay people and all colours and creeds and basically run totally democratically… run similarly to a pirate ship where the captain had no special privilege and was only in charge of sailing decisions not what they attacked etc. Everyone of the big names during the main age of piracy lived in Nassau… including Teech (Blackbeard).
