I really like your videos dude !! It’s nice to see someone actually working on there own car and not bodging stuff you’ve got the tools too !! I don’t know if you watch anyone like boosted / Jamie fyd/lee Lockwood and others there good to watch but don’t seem to know what there doing and sometimes it’s cringeworthy lol a specially because I’ve been in the trade for 12years I really wish you all the best in the future and hope you put more footage out and get bigger!!!! Keep up the good work dude 🤙🏼

You really improved a lot since your first videos! Good work! One question: Is it safe to jack the car from the subframe? Is it not dangerous to slip?

Thinking of buying a 1.6 engine and replacing my current 1 litre on my Corsa d but not sure yet

Nice progress. Better to bin those lights, though? Not just the fact they're a mess, but from experience, plastic welding and gluing doesn't work against a Great British pot hole :)

@AIHurrell6 жыл бұрын
Where do you dispose of your fluids? Coolant/oil etc? How do you transport it there too - presumably not just in that crate? Very silly question, but my local dump has no info on disposal of such things.

@akautodetailing23226 жыл бұрын
if i may ask what is the reason of the engine swap. love your videos mate keep them up.
@TheSavageGarage6 жыл бұрын
Adil Khan why not? Just wanted a little challenge and I thought it would make good content :) cheers for watching
@akautodetailing23226 жыл бұрын
haha love this kind of content. will it give it a power increase? and can you actually get this model corsa in a 1.8 or is it the reason why your doing this.
@TheSavageGarage6 жыл бұрын
Adil Khan should see quite a considerable power increase! Not 100% sure on numbers but I think it's like 50bhp more with the 1.8, don't quote me though
@megadethguym79776 жыл бұрын
Why u have an impact wrnch if u going to break loose the lug nuts with a breaker bar first?
@allanmichealsmith6 жыл бұрын
megadethGUY M because there's not enough power in the hawk 14.4v 3/8 impact gun to break free lug nuts. Ideal for around the engine / removing panel bolts.

mike smith oh ok now i see i dident pay attention to the size of it true tru

can someone please teell me where is the MAP sensor on the Z18xe please.............I tried google it and nothing can be find
@JuicingDailyTV6 жыл бұрын
devilambrose z18xe has a MAF, it's on the intake system just after airbox.
@devilambrose6 жыл бұрын
na, I know what is a MAF, I actually has a long standing code (forgotten what number exactly......) I google it and it return as a faulty MAP (which I have no idea what it is and what its for), but since the car still running ok (a little bit of hesitation probably once a month? god knows if its related or something else), I just never bother to get it change.

Not so much a fan of these cars and not sure why youre doing this? if anyone could enlighten me... i know perhaps theres a passion for his corsa but ya know. Not hating at all just wondering. Really interested into how the swap will progress too and the final result should be cool.
@TheSavageGarage6 жыл бұрын
James Garrett I like corsas, other people like them too it seems.. I like to be different and nobody is doing a 1.8 swap on KZbin that I can find :)
@Jimexter6 жыл бұрын
yeah there does seem to be a big fan base for them. Cant wait to see the finished product, would you be inclined to a few track days in it once the swaps complete? would make for some really good content
@TheSavageGarage6 жыл бұрын
James Garrett yea that's the plan :) probably wait until the spring for that though
@Jimexter6 жыл бұрын
Sounds good! I purchased a 1995 1.6 eunos roadster (imported mx5) 2 months ago. Tucked away over these cold months doing a few bits to it just tidying it up for better road worthiness really. Want to keep it fairly standard so I can get some good seat time in it before i start doing proper modifications. Intend do do some track days too. Was going to drift it but the car itself is far too good. It has only done 58k miles!
