Maybe it has been change, but I believe that all builders that currently exist in your empire when the pyramids finish also receive an additional charge

I have noticed this as well. It might even be that the polecie you chose that give builders extra charges work on exciting builders.

@@LordHookie I think we're talking about 2 different things, some are talking about the pyrimids (all builders) and others are talking about the policy card (all new builders- the governor ability as well). I'm confused lol

Builders captured through combat by Aztec eagle warriors also get the extra charge from the Pyramids.

For Aztecs, they have a chance of converting defeated enemy units to builders.

I doubt for aztecs... since they are very agresive and their best moment is starting of game making it too hard to obtain. maybe if you conquered a desert city that got nice production you may dedicate it to pyramide but nothing else

The reason is that the Aztecs can use their builders to speed up district construction

I will say that one of the most satisfying things I've done in a Civ 6 game was achieved an 8 charge builder: China, with Pyramids, with Liang, with Serfdom (and Ilkum). I popped out 4 of them in a relatively short time and ran wild doing improvements and making wonders. Good times.

Now I remember when I was playing CIV III (I know, Civ 3), this is like a must wonder because you instantly builds a granary in every city you have in your capital's continent. But now in civ 6 they only give you an extra builder charge and somehow felt like only a bit better than stonehenge

In Civilization Revolution they give you access to all kind of governments in the game even if you haven’t researched their respective technology

Can you add a must-have Civ for each wonder? Or at least should prio than other? I think for the Pyramids, it is a must have for China and good for Aztec as well Maybe we will have much more of these kind of wonder in future (like Kiwa for Pericles?) But all and all, good work.

Anyone also farm the Free citys for builders? I find that if you let a city loyalty drop and defeat the 2 spawns, around 8 turns after a builder is built from the free city. If you have the said city at red health and under seige at that point you can take the free builder and the town back. Rinse and repeat. Also you get awesome lvls on your units and the +10 xp from taking the city with a mellee unit is also really good. I only play on Marathon speed though.

I generally play on standard. Sometimes the flip can be too quick on that speed. I'm still slowly working through every leader but once I'm done with that I might play a marathon game or two. I bet that strat is great with Aztecs huh?

No shade I just want to know what the advantage is to this as opposed to simply building a builder in the city and never letting it's loyalty drop?

Its in the scenario where you may have not enough units to conquer all the surrounding civilizations citys, maybe just enough time to conquer then heal units just in time for the flip. You know how the computer builds all its citys so close. And it generally only works in the ancient/classical era. And in my opinion thats when builders are needed the most. Its not ideal I agree, But i just found that while I couldnt take all the enemy civs citys I could at least make the expedition worth it. Also if you can only take the city and no others and are forced to decide to get a peace treaty. You can still leave your troops there and farm it up for xp/builders.
