I'm glad people asked you to leave the un-masking footage in. I like watching that too. This VW is looking great with it's 3-tone paint job!

It was a true pleasure to watch you work your magic. You made it look effortlessly, something I think we both know is NOT true. Great job keep it up! Tally ho from Rosie

i like to remove the masking line while the last coat is still drying , just to ensure no ripping happens with dry paint , sometimes dry paint can leave an uneven line . the bus looks beautiful ! .

You mentioned potential corrections for if the paint seeped under the masking tape. I was wondering what measures you could take to correct this if it happened?

Why do i leave my paint to dry for like 3 hrs when i mask the pain always stick to the masking tap. I use the tamiya spray can. Could it be i only use 1 layer of color on the model?
@TheScalemodelingChannel9 жыл бұрын
Tamiya paints dry a lot slower then Zero paints, leave that atleast for 1 full day before masking. Its also inportant to prepare the body before you even start painting. Sand it with some 600 grid sand paper this will help the paint stick. Spray 2 or 3 light coats.

Been watching your vids for awhile now and thats some awesome work you do. One thing I noticed you don't paint the inside of your vehicles is there a reason for this. I would think that seeing as you are able to look inside you see the unfinished roof.
@TheScalemodelingChannel9 жыл бұрын
+Michael Lange I moslt don't show me doing it, but i paint all the insides of the body black or sometimes in a matching interior color. I just do this with a brush and some black paint.
@shaunkane83206 жыл бұрын
where do you put the body to dry after painting??
@TheScalemodelingChannel6 жыл бұрын
In the spray booth

So, is this a 'Pepsi' scheme perhaps? Looks like the colours are good for a Pepsi delivery van!

@TheScalemodelingChannel8 жыл бұрын
+yeung jasper They are not that great, but i have about 30 in my stash, so they will be built at some point. I don't build specific brands because i like one more then the other. I build the cars i want to build and don't really look at the kit manufacturer.

I'm not going to lie, I think that red roof looks pretty ugly, probably would have been better if it was white or black
