For me I was always happy with the way the original Legacy era ended. After the death of Darth krayt though I do feel it was a little rushed towards the end. But I felt that was a pretty good conclusion and Cade Skywalker in my opinion was actually a very good character. That entire Legacy series would have made a far better group of films in my opinion than what we have now.

I never liked Talon, she should have been executed some time ago. She is gross. Nihl was probably leading the Sith fleet during that last battle and died when his cruiser got blown up. Let the Sith perish, the end. Because Star Wars feels better with closure, there are already so many timelines and stories that we have to cover. But they all deserve a TV show and some video games. That's for sure.

This is still canon for me. While there are some redeeming moments in Disney canon (aka nothing from the sequel era) the EU still stands as official for me and the sequel era is a bit like the Kelvin Timeline for Trek. In other words, I'm perfectly fine with alternate timelines. Just let me keep my awesome Legacy Era, damnit.

Justin Schauwecker not really how the force works in SW. The dark side is basically a corruption or perverted use of the force, that's why prolonged use of the Dark side leaves users deformed or disfigured. A healthy diet does not mean a balance on healthy and junk foods.

Well actually, things balance out with Fel's order. They are just but are less limited and rigid than the Jedi order. They will definitely find a few rogue bad sides, but ideally nothing too bad. Ideally nothing ever on the scale of the past. Its nice to feel like the issues of the past will end some point. Legacy 2 ends with a transitional period, it represents the Battle of Armageddon in Star Wars.

Bringing balance to the force does not necessarily mean wiping out all the sith. On the contrary it could easily just mean a balance between the light and dark sides of the force, which is exactly what Anakin did. When the Jedi were too powerful he torn them apart, when the sith became too powerful he chucked Palpatine down a space well and exploded into stardust. Granted it certainly took some prompting from Luke for him to do that last one but still.

But this really isn't what George Lucas had in mind. Bringing balance to the Force simply means the end of the Sith and significant peace in the galaxy. Nothing more. Which is why I don't like it whenever these stories, canon or legends, just bring back the Sith after the Emperor's death in the second Death Star.

The wording of that prophecy has always bugged me. When I read "Bring balance to the force", I interpret it as building and maintaining an equilibrium between the light and dark sides of the force. Like a groundskeeper in possession of tools that would cultivate plant life, and tools that would damage or end plant life.

I never really went along with the concept of destroying the Sith as a valid concept, even within the canon. It would be similar to stating that the "dark" side of the force was destroyed *or* all sentient life suddenly ceased to be selfish, greedy, angry, etc. It was never really possible in the first place. Sure, there are practices and doctrines associated with the Sith as an "organization" or class of people, but that doesn't suddenly mean that they couldn't be imitated or emulated by a force user(s) embracing the dark side or a reinvention of the concepts or guidelines that the Sith embody.

After watching this video I had a thought, in the Disney movies isn't it improbable that there were no other force sensitive's that lived? Wouldn't there be more out there somewhere doing something, starting their own temple, be it Sith or Jedi? The way I always pictured it was in the new movies it was just Luke, Rey (who sucks in my opinion, terrible character), Ben, Snoke, and Leia (FINALLY!!) and no one else. Actually the more I think about it the more it resembles the original trilogy and I hate it more, why couldn't they do something different?!

Darth Nihl took over as reigning Dark Lord of the Sith after the death of Darth Krayt, and went into hiding with many others to rebuild in secret, similar to the Sith Order under Bane. It was never stated or shown that Wredd killed Nihl, so I choose to believe the Sith still live on. Even if he was killed by Wredd or the Imperial Knights there were plenty of other Sith across the galaxy under Krayt's Rule of One, so the odds of one surviving and continuing the traditions of the Sith are high. You can't destroy the Sith. As with the Jedi, the last one is never really the last one. There's always more.

Nah he's dead. He was in the Sith Fleet during that battle and he got blown up. At least that's what I hope. I prefer a Battle of Armageddon to just end it all. Star Wars already has so many eras and can use alternate universe stories to keep expanding. No need for more of it. Plus there is no way the Fel Empire would assume that all Sith are dead unless they had specific reasons to believe each leading sith was killed, all those high profile figures would be hunted first. They could feign their deaths though. Talon is definitely dead. She is nuts and she will want to prove a point. She definitely tried to get revenge after Krayt died and got herself killed by Cade (about time after all her failures and I agree with Nihl that her death was long overdue). It's honestly annoying Cade didn't end her on Coruscant after beating her down for the 3rd time. And Maladi survived and went into hiding too but, I'd like to believe that Krieg took her out during his own awesome mission. Meanwhile Shado went on his own cool mission with a couple new companions. He became more powerful and ended Havok. Judgement came and the Sith were cleaned out. If any new dark siders come they'll be like rookies and then they'll get wiped out too. The imperial knights are the new dominant force and its good because they are much more attractive and pleasant than the Sith.

@@billclark5055 Great headcanon. I disagree. But considering there's most likely never going to be old EU content again we can all just make up whatever we want to believe and go with it. I choose to believe the Sith still live and went into hiding as they've done many times in the past. No matter how many Wredd, the Jedi, the Republic or the Fel Empire hunt down there will always be one more Sith to continue the line, just like there's always been one more Jedi to carry the torch and bring about the next generation. The struggle between the Jedi and the Sith is the cyclical conflict between light and dark and for me that will never go away, nor would I want it to. Frankly the Sith are by far the most interesting and entertaining part of Star Wars and if they were to disappear I'd have no interest in the series. I have absolutely no interest in the Imperial Knights honestly. They're an interesting take on a new sect of Force users in the setting but beyond their concept I find them boring and dull. As long the Jedis exists, as long the Sith exists because the Force wants balance and it will do everything to accomplish this, even if it takes to recruit Siths from the Jedi Order or Jedis from the Sith Order (actually that happend before).

The imperial knights have more of a balanced approach and are better than the jedi were but lean light side. Which is best. In the end, they have the natural edge now and they can always destroy the sith before they get too strong. Plus I think of it like the Battle of Armageddon for Star Wars. Its only getting better from there and Sith are beaten overall because its more of a spiritual struggle than a logical one.

I have to make one point about Legacy II series. See, it's story been rushed due Disney taking over the franchise and Dark Horse losing it's rights to make comics in the universe. Concluding that thought, I believe the story would have end differently than it did, probably making some space for universe to expand further into the future. In my personal headcanon the events concluding Legacy II didn't ended the One Sith, but merely weakened their hidden forces. I like to believe that characters such as Darth Nihl and Darth Talon are lurking in the shadows, waiting for right time to threat the Galaxy once again 😊

In my opinion this can be cannon because to balance the force there needs to be light and dark in harmony. Darth Wredd did not balance the force, he destroyed the Sith. Luke brought balance to the force by reducing the dark to match the light. I like this story because it gives the impression that if there are practitioners of exclusively light and exclusively dark there will be conflict and a natural re-balancing. Darth Wredd used the dark to destroy the dark and had the determination to complete his mission even if he was a target of his hatred and revenge.

I don't agree with bringing characters "back". I mean, they were never in the new canon, that's the first thing and the 2'nd is that you can't bring a character to a different universe. That won't be the same character. They should continue the legends universe timeline and do other things in their new canon.

While wredd did lead to the destruction of the sith there may have been more sith after that which we don't hear about as although the story ended there, the greatest strength of the sith is that even if the order is destroyed it's legacy will always attract darksiders so rebuild the order as has happened throughout the history of the galaxy.

Your head-canon is perfectly fine, but you are misinterpreting the prophecy of the Chosen One. It is true that the existence of the Sith in the era of the films kept the Force out of balance in favor of the dark side, and that Anakin destroying the Sith brought the Force back into balance; but it is never stated that the Sith can't return, or that their return would cause the Force to become unbalanced once again. The Force was balanced, whether the Sith were to return or not. Their existence after the prophecy was fulfilled was completely irrelevant.

In the clone wars it is stated multiple times that Anakin will bring balance in the force and save the universe (Qui-Gon) and also Yoda says that the jedi will not find victory in the clone wars but victory for all time. The entire story is pointless if its simply eventually gonna go back to the way things were. There is no point in the story then but non the less we enjoy the post ROTJ EU.

It's weird. He HATES the Sith. Yet till the end he consideres himself as a sith. It seemes that he just hates the One Sith but not all the sith in general. However, when he kills all of the One Sith, instead of creating his own sith order as he planned he want's to destroy them for good by killing himself. I don't get it.

Anakin did bring balance to the force, killed off almost all the Jedi and brought their numbers down to have similar number of dark side users (Sith/Dark Jedi/ inquisitors). The balance could also be disrupted again after Anakin brought balance.

It's actually very obviously supposed to be the end of the story as George intended it to be. There's a reason why 35000 years have been explored before the movies and there is an actual purpose to the chosen one. Otherwise the story is completely pointless if it's all for nothing.

Balance means both sides are equal there is not hate without love there is no dark without light both sides need to exist if you have head cannon that darth vader destroying the sith is bringing balance to the force than youre wrong although i do appreciate the difference in pov but if the dark side is destroyed then theres only the light side of the force and its not possible the closest jedi that had balance was mace windu he studied aspects of both sides not many jedi ever did that he even implemented dark side techniques into light side techniques to give him the edge all while being on the light side

Nope because light and dark isn't balance since everyone of the light side users in the galaxy wants there to be balance while the dark siders don't. Balance is apparently the absence of evil when there is peace and hapiness.

@@TheScoundrelsCantina I'm speaking in a more natural order of things kind of angle, since the Force is something that is in tune with nature itself then it clearly means similar rules apply to it, let one thing be removed from the equation and the whole system will collapse until it is fixed overtime on its own. Sure Wredd removed the Sith for now but eventually it will resurface, knowing how many Sith relics are out there, one will bound to attract someone.

I like this way more than Disney's approach but honestly I don't really like either. The Sith were supposed to end with Sidious and Vader, with the fulfillment of Anakins destiny as the Chosen One. What is it with post ROTJ star wars content constantly trying to retconn Anakin and make the sith survive past those events? Either Anakin was or wasn't the Chosen One, and if he wasn't, what the hell was the point of the Skywalker Saga anyway?
