I think the hardest part when making these macarons was fighting the urge to eat any of the meringue... its so silky and fluffy ...and marshmallowy...but the end result turned out great, I use cake scraps from my nephew's birthday, now I have a creative treat to make out of those scraps(because I think cake pops are pretty boring) so thank you so much, Nick!

Love your channel! In my country we bake "macaroons" using desiccated coconut and poured on small lined cupcake tins so we don't label it as a cookie. while we use almond meal or almond flour on "macarons" and are baked on a cookie sheet. :)

Wow this is a very different way to make macarons! It seems like a bit more work but that almond flour paste and the sugar syrup are such good steps to ensure a smooth batter.
