Well, for Radiohead, that was in the early days. Thom hated people for liking Creep because of what it depicted his band as, and for how it overshadowed the rest of their discography. He has even said back in 1995 "I'd rather be known as the band who did The Bends, rather than the band who did Creep". The British press is known to be vitriolic at times, and headlines such as "RADIOHEAD PLAYS FOR CREEPS " or "STALKING THE AIRWAVES" were being projects onto thousands of people. As for the obscenities shouted by Thom, back in those days where Radiohead were regarded as nothing but a passing fad/'one hit wonder', many people who'd go to their shows would only stay for their hit song, and leave soon after. To add more fuel to the fire, Thom is known to be kind of shirty at times. However, during their most recent tour for A Moon Shaped Pool Radiohead have been known to play Creep a couple of times. Maybe they've moved on because they know they've cemented their names, and have done better, more trailblazing, things than Creep.

I'm fairly convinced Daft Punk hates their own fans considering the way they treated us through their entire existence. The things people wanted they seemed to blatantly ignore (despite having whole movie scenes demonstrating they're well aware what people want, like the end scene of Interstella 5555) and they didn't even have the basic courtesy to tell the world why their third concert didn't happen. No merch, no concerts, no happiness, then they just dip after ignoring us for 10 years. They could've retired 2015 and spared us the false hope. I feel a genuine "fuck you" from the universe for having made me love Daft Punk growing up. Everything someone looks forward to in a musical artist never came out of those 2 pompous modern art twats. They openly shit on everyone that gave them their mansions.

Rivers has gone back and forth on his opinions on pinkerton over the years, now he’s definitely more accepting of the album for what it is and the reception it’s gotten. But definitely in the early 2000’s there was a lot of hate for it by the frontman. So im sure this doesnt really hold up today but it did at one point.

I don’t think Sonny Moore (skrillex / vocals From First To Last) knows how close he came to never becoming skrillex after talking shit about Houston during his FFTL performance here in the mid 2000’s … He’s really lucky on some dumb shit bc one person was able to talk down a group of people from beating his ass after the show while he was walking around the merch area by himself.
