The extremely small amount of people who are targeted because of their skin with violence is quite small and even non existent most places. everyone deserves protection but just the premise of this is ridiculous. you need to change the whole thinking of neighborhoods that are a majority black because the problems that are being caused in those areas are not being caused by the good people they are simply not being reported enough by the ones who are scared of the bad people...honestly inner cities need more police help so if people of the community want to join in and help go for it....just know the people in your neighborhood are going to think that you are part of the issue with snitching and it's not going to solve anything

Vice was obviously setting a narrative. Same as with the Black Panthers, policing the police is just a part of what they're doing. Black Panthers had school lunch programs, provided public healthcare, and would take direct action to police their own community. But the image of a bunch of black people shooting guns in a militia setting is a powerful image and sells easier than talking about the aspects that are more oriented towards community service.

It takes getting black people in what feels like a safe space to get them to consider gun usgae. I can't take a black anti-gunner to a standard gun show or gun rally, they will be very uncomfortable. I could take them to a NAAGA group meeting, or out in the country among other black gun owners, and I may just get them to change their political stance on guns and reconsider how they vote. Blacks overwhelmingly vote for the left and are sold on believing in gun control. This needs to change by any means necessary, even the formation of black gun groups.

Instead of this let's start with: 1. Require a 4 year degree to be an officer. 2. Require the officer to have professional liability insurance. 3. Have a registry of disciplinary action of police officers. 4. Always on body cam depending on situation.

“I’ll be your bad guy” nah man, you are a patriot and a role model, but yes a lot of people will see you as a “bad guy” for everything you’re saying. Black & Brown, strap up and get over the idea that guns are just for bad people. I would love to see some Black/Brown GUNSMITHS and Gun Shop owners though, I’ve personally experienced racism by local gunsmiths who wouldn’t work on my guns ‘cus I’m Latino (their first question was “are you a cop”, and when I said no, they claimed they couldn’t help me, FOH).
