@roscoeorginal6 ай бұрын
Fair or not, that’s the reality of the situation. I believe Embiids criticism is a bit overblown because the 76ers should have just shut Embiid down since the beginning and just let him recover. Not even hate against Embiid, just genuine concern for this guy. If anything, 76ers as a franchise deserve way more criticism than anyone for allowing this.

AD had a crazy game too, you didn't mention that enough... 32pts on 14/19 + 11 rebounds. He scored at will and had a great defensive game... For 3 quarters, defensively Denver put him in foul trouble after and offensively lebron took over (but maybe a bit to much, he only had only 1 fga) Having AD, Russell AND Lebron have crazy games and still loosing that. I`t must suck for LA. But, they can say that it was VERY competitive at Denver.

Lakers Defense today was really great. But their offense is still messy. They just got lucky today that those difficult shots are hitting in the 1st half. But unlucky in the 4th, difficult shots arent hitting anymore. They need different plays for offense. AD and Lebron pick & roll is their only reliable play and Denver checks it in the 4th.
@bilindabutcher89136 ай бұрын
Denver checked it in the 3rd quarter because Michael Malone switched Jokic unto Rui and the Lakers stopped involving AD. Everything got slow after that until in the 4th again when they started running the double screens

@urbaindelva78696 ай бұрын
I think it comes down to late-game execution of offense by the Nuggets. The Lakers' offense often gets stagnant while the Nuggets are always running actions and plays to get the best shot possible. Not to mention that they have a bit more offensive skill (Jokić, Murray), better 3pt shooters (Murray, KCP, MPJ), and better on-ball creation at the guard and center spots (Murray, Jokić). Defensively, the Nuggets have more capable defenders and more size, but that hasn't been the difference.

Sixers almost certainly won’t get swept unless embiids body completely collapses. They’re playing fantastic defense on Brunson which is usually the most important part of playoffs defense, they’re getting killed by the depth. Having two starting caliber centers share minutes is such a big rebounding advantage when Embiid on a bum knees needs to play 40 or else the sixers lose
@bedstuy4_l8956 ай бұрын
@@allin4508you damn near explained every reason why the Sixers are about to lose Game 3 and 4 and be done with. Brunson has been awful the first two games, while Maxey has been good both games and picked up the Embiid slack. But it just didn’t matter because the Knicks have some of the best depth in the league and the 76ers have really none at all. And Embiid also hasn’t looked very good this series with his knees all banged up. You say that the Sixers won’t get swept unless his body gives out when that is very well on the verge of happening.

I think Brunson is struggling so much because there isn’t a clear 2nd option for NY. Having Randle would help space the floor even if he isn’t playing good as he’s still a threat. Just as Jamal Murray struggled heavily last night, but still had to be guarded nonstop as he’s always a threat. Without Randle there to help as well as his presence, it lets the defense comfortably double team him the entire time soon as he crosses half court. As well as this just shows how much growth Brunson still has to go before he truly becomes one of the best players in the league *Top 5

How you say he's on fraud watch ? The way they're defending him and throwing everyone at him. He's always made difficult shots , they're just not falling. He still had 8rebs and 6 assists, I do agree that the defense side looked bad with him in there

Also divincenzo's 3 did not tie the game They took the lead 101 102 to be exact The score was 96 101 before the scramble

this is one of those game loses that completely kills a team hope LA doesn’t pitty and come back even angrier

Idk why bron went for a 3 instead of driving to the basket. Reminds me of jimmy doing the same a year or 2 ago

Considering the shot that Jamal Murray made, going for a 3 was the better option. Just not the way he did it.

Based on game one of Thunder Pelicans i am almost certain the Lakers would have made it out of the second round if they had thrown the first playin game

New York was in fact not winning most of the game

really just the end of the third and most of the 4th, they were trailing the rest of the game

I cringed inside when I saw LeBron miss that 3 that could have iced it. That was his "I'm him" moment, but he bricked it. You think a young and hungry, fired up LeBron swishes it? If he was 15 years younger? I will hand it to him though. He's still not only an all-time great but also still an almost ageless superstar in 2024.
@urbaindelva78696 ай бұрын
Yeah, that's all well and good, but unfortunately, he missed it. The fact that Jamal Murray hit the game-winner on the other end makes it look worse, which is obviously what people are gonna focus on.

He misses that 10 years ago too. Lol

If Jamal Murray isn't on 'fraud watch' then JB isn't either.
