I seriously have everything you've mentioned except for the mens hairspray and a couple of the women's hair products. Im going to be upball night looking for everything 😂

I use Mervin or Marcel “finger wave” hair stylers 🌊 they are amazing. You have to set your hair in a certain product and then wet it and comb it down and then angle them like alternating ocean waves tight to your skull 💀 🎀 16:40 good sell for you! Oh i’d love to have the kind you shown but I have the smaller ones by goody.

Rachel - I recently sold my grandmother's Fuller Brush hair brush that had boar's hair as bristles...She passed away in 1989 and my mom still had it in a drawer - also the hair in pin cushions supposedly actually kept the pins sharp - great video!

My grandfather was an artist (and other relatives too) & he designed hair products & did the drawings for the packaging & also the art for the back of handheld mirrors in the 1950s-1970s. That's my Mom's Dad, and my Dad who knew my Mom's Dad before meeting my Mom in the plastic factory where they worked, he was an injection mold worker who made plastic brushes, combs, etc., etc., I still have a TON of vintage barber style combs and other combs in hot pink. Just haven't had time to list them yet. I watch all these videos & realize how much I saved, but how much I WISH I had saved more. My childhood could literally be my retirement money, lol.

How do you know if celluloid?
@RachelStrickland8 ай бұрын
I've heard you can rub it or heat it with running water and if it smells like camphor, it's celluloid.

LOL 😂 I had to use Aqua Net in the pump bottle because hairspray in cans were discontinued (they were ruining the ozone layer). My hair was so baby fine I had to use a half a bottle at one time. The smell of it brings back great memories 🥰 PS… Now that hair spray is back in cans, I still have aqua net in my bathroom 😊 PSS… Great video/info!! Thanks for the heads up!!

My hair receiver is my entire condo or wherever I roam, lol. Welcome to mid-life where all those gorgeous golden blonde locks I once had suddenly falls out and "old lady" (no offense meant) hair replaces the hair of youth or even 40s. My once, thin, long, fine, luxurious hair is now wiry and frizzy and I've not had it done in 3 summers now, just a high ponytail. I still have my hair products from the '70s, '80s and '90s because I save anything cool to me, lol.
