Thanks for watching the video. One thing I didn't make clear in the video : XP360 Spectre can have 10th or 11th Gen Intel and Nvidia MX250 or MX330 depending on which model you pick up.

I used to own a 13in model of the spectre x360. It worked with Ubuntu and I liked it, but palm rejection was a major issue linux. The track pad is too wide and I either had to deactivate an inch worth of track pad, or turn off tap to click. It was frustrating, so I went with Lenovo. Given supply chain tho, maybe my next laptop will be HP. Thanks for the video!

I definitely agree that the track pad should be more square and less rectangular on the x360. Until I was use to the format I was constantly right clicking when I wanted to left click because of the width throwing me off.

@@dasgeek for me I just kept hitting it with my palm while typing. There is a command you can use to deactivate part of the track pad. Really, setting the active area. But I got tired of doing that. Loved everything else about it. Really premium laptop choice for sure.

Yea - I'm not a fan of the size of touch pad on my laptop also. LOL, I keep playing chop sticks with the keyboard, look up and find the cursor is in a different place 🤭

Have you looked at the HP Omen15 2020 with intel Comet Lake, RTX 2060, the FHD 144Hz? I blitzed Windows and put Kubuntu on it - fantastic for gaming - yay HP :) . Great video by the way.

There is no support for Intal Optane in Linux?

You can still use the space as a small drive or Cache basically it just shows up as a standard block device.

Yeah, and for the money... I was pleased with my AMD 4500u AND IT'S AWESOME 1920x1080 display 🤣 I've not opened it up yet - I'm under the impression Ram is easily up gradable

it seems not much different than the x360 elite book of the last 5 years g2-g7. 100% high end business focus. Excellent for everything but gaming.
