When I was getting back into YuGiOh, I was dueling a kid that I think might've been new because I had put up Summon Limit, and he just couldn't wrap his head around how it works. He would try to summon more than twice a turn multiple times, and he said I was cheating because I had 3 monsters on my board even though they were summoned over a span of like 3-4 turns. What I think he misunderstood was that I could have more than 2 monsters on board I just couldn't summon more than twice a turn. I was trying to explain this to him, but then some other kids started watching us, saw I had 3 monsters on my board and a summon limit, and ,without any questioning, immediately said I was cheating. They wouldn't listen to me when I explained what happened multiple times and because the person I was dueling was now in an echo chamber he wasn't listening either, so I just left. I then posted about this on Reddit (🤢) and everyone was insulting me for calling them kids. They were kids and so was I back then. I had no idea why they were so mad at me calling those people kids because it isn't an insult. The only people that actually get offended for being called a kid are kids, so I don't know why so many people were getting mad over this. Then I realized it was just Reddit and stopped interacting lol

Yes. Yes they were. About a year before master duel he used to have a 'pepega counter' that went up every time we had a dumb ass judge call, it would often be on 60+ sometimes over 100 on a bad day. (really bad calls would score multiple pepegas)

This video makes me mald. I wish coder was my judge. Last time I had a judge call on DB somebody activated an effect, and 8 seconds later, before they had even attempted to resolve the effect, I activated a trap card. He just said nothing and called a judge. I asked what the problem was he said nothing. When the judge arrived I said that dude called a judge without explaining when I activated a response. The judge looked at the logs and told me that 8 seconds was too long, even though I literally spent exactly 6 seconds saying I have a response and you could see the typing dots so he had to know I was typing. I was not allowed to activate solemn strike because of this.

I understand some people want an experience that is as close to the real thing, but is the trade-off really worth it?

Videos like this make me very glad I never decided to try playing on Dueling Book. Automated all the way, just so I don't have to deal with as many idiots. Also saves people from having to try to clarify rulings that could be solved by people just reading about the game they are playing. Like Master Duel even shows you how interaction works, where even if your opponent doesn't have a response it still shifts the priority to them before shifting it back. The number of players who ether try to rule shark or will do stupid shit like the count down is just way to high to play on Dueling Book.

@@SyxxPunk Toggle On stops at every interaction point even if you have no way to respond. Toggle Auto proceeds if you have nothing to play, but stops to ask if you do. Toggle Off simply refuses to allow you to play.

Judge calls are fun but these people are reason I only play yugioh at locals. At locals you don’t get away with being a jerk for no reason cause you will get called out. Behind a screen people finally feel a little bit of control

You say that, but I spent my first 16 months or so going to locals getting constantly shit on for playing Glad Beasts in 2013/2014/2015. After topping several tourneys there and winning quite a few they stopped giving me shit about it. Would still occasionally get people from out of town who'd act that way though.

@DistantCoder: YGO pro is bad against Cpu, because the Cpu cheats, I play traditonal format in YGO pro against a cpu a long time ago, and the cpu when he is used ultimated offering,, pay 500 normal summoned blue-eyes white dragon no tributed, and their was not other card that made the blue-eyes lv4 or lower in hand so I do not know what else that Cpu can cheat with. And for me still needed to tributed for blue-eyes white dragon with ultimated offering and YGO pro never fix it because it is traditional format, and against a cpu.

In case you're still wondering, Share the Pain and Dakini both cause your opponent to Send to the Graveyard. It's not targeted, and is effectively forcing them to tribute their monster. It's not exactly that, but its close enough to use as layman's terms. Creature swap targets, and then switches control. If a monster is unaffected by effects, the switch control part is ignored and nothing happens. You can achieve the same effect of sending the monster by using Dingirsu's effect as well.

Please answer this for me in a video 1 day u have time as I am one of your subs. Anyway, So at my last locals I played my lair of darkness deck and my opponent played sharks. He told me that whichever one played first (lair of darkness or stealth kragen) was the effect that changed attributes on the field permanently and the second one activated wouldn't work. So what I'm asking is, if he summons stealth kragen before I activate lair of darkness, does lair of darkness not effect the field?

Step back chumps this is how you fix YU-GI-OH Side note Links should’ve been made before Pendulum then Pendulums last. Side note 2 numbers 12,14, 20, 21, 23, 24 are a little too much and aren’t necessary. 1. You can’t use face down cards for fusion or ritual Summons only for Tribute summons 2. 1 Normal summon and 1 set or 2 sets (or 2 normal Summons) (Or or 1 set, 1 normal summon, 1 tribute Summon) 3. Normal Summoning in face-up defense position 4. Remove missing timing 5. Tokens can be use as xyz Material 6. Increase the Extra and side Decks to 20 Cards 7. Link monsters can be used as synchro material but count as level 0 ofc 8. Ritual monsters that say “YOU CAN ritual summon this card” can also be Special or Normal summoned like regular monsters. Only Rituals that say “MUST BE” must be ritual summoned. 9. when a monster attacks another monster that has higher DEF points it’s destroyed after damage calc. 10. any combination of cards with mutual links can be used to have control of a monster in both mid field Extra Monster Zones. Instead of just the U lock 11. Monsters in the Mid field Extra monster Zones can be used by either player for The summons of Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, XYZ, Link and tributes for tribute Summons. Now both players benefit and take a risk by using the Extra monsters zones 12. Monsters in the Pendulum Zones can be used by (only the controller or by either player who cares really) for The summons of Fusion, Ritual, Synchro, XYZ, Link and tributes for tribute Summons 13. Bring back the Pendulum zones but you can only pendulum summon monsters equal to the # of zones in between where you placed your scales in the back row. So with how the board is set up now you can only pen summon 3 monsters. So if you want to summon 5 they’d need to bring back pendulum scale zones plus it’d be cool to set traps in your pendulum zones yk 14. Pendulum monsters in the Pendulum zones can only attack monsters in the mid field Extra monster zones or Cards( monster, S/T) across from itself on the opponent’s field in the Pendulum Zones. 15. All monsters have battle protection from monsters with lower Levels/Ranks then themselves and also have Battle vulnerability with monsters that have a higher Level/ Rank then themselves. Meaning they are instantly destroyed after damage calc when battling a monster with a higher Level/ Rank Or All monsters have battle protection and instant destruction upon attacks on monsters in this oder. Level 12 beats level 11 and below and Rank 1 beats level 12 and below ect ect ect 16. You can Fusion summon fusion monsters without poly by Summoning material on top/in the same zone as the other material.( for monster that requires 3 material the material must be on field or in hand just like how poly works. ( if you’ve play Dark Duel stories then you’d know how this works) ( its just a choice between letting this summoning mechanic be a fusion summon or not which ofc it should be counted as Fusion summon so then monsters gain their effects and if the material is sent to the gy or is stays stacked in the same zones.) 17. Monsters in main monster zones can only attack monsters in the main monster zones across in same columns as themselves and can’t attack directly. Monsters in the EMZ can attack directly when opponents board is empty ofc and monsters in the opponent’s main monster zones 18. Link monsters Arrow can be used to climb up or down the field creating EMZones on your opponent’s field or your own S/T zones 19. Both And/or Link arrows just let the link monster attack the zones it points to along with monsters in the same Column 20. While In the EMZ or main monster zones Pendulum monsters can attack S/T cards/ cards in the S/T zones in the same column as itself. (No damage is delt) Or pendulums can only attack an opponent’s Cards in the S/T zones while its been summon to the opponent’s field (in your control) bc the arrow a link monster points to an opponent’s main monsters zones 21. You can start duels with any number of Pendulum’s monsters face-up on top of the extra deck for you to Pend summon but they take up space in your extra Deck 22. Add a secondary Extra deck thats only for spells and traps thats 5-10-20 cards and you can once per turn set 1 trap or add it to your hand and 1 activation/set of a spell or add it to your hand ( only in the main phase of the turn players turn) (Pendulum monsters can be place here to) (You Activate any spell you choose from the speed spell deck or you set it depends on if you wanna extra zone to activate spells from or if you wanna make it more of a guess which card is my trap cards kinda deal) 23. Unlimited normal Summons of normal monsters and of any level 1-8 24. Draw 2 cards per turn during draw phase 25. Create a separate banlist for the speed spell deck 26. Links aren’t restricted to the EMZ to be summoned 27. Get rid of properly summoning 28. All together your once per turn resources become 1 set of a trap or add it to your hand 1 set of a spell or add it to your hand 1 normal summon 1 set of a monster 1 pendulum summon 29. Pendulum summoning aren’t restricted to zones with link arrows pointing to them 30. Both players can use both EMZones without a U-Lock CARD DESIGNS THAT ID LIKE TO SEE IN THE FUTURE THAT COULD HELP BALANCE THE GAME More reprints More possible/realistic 1. Create (more)Pendulum Ritual Monsters 2. Trap Pendulum Monsters 3. Link Pendulum Monsters 4. Create Pendulums with Different Numbered Scales on Each Side(scale) 5. Create Pendulum Flip Monsters 6. Create Pendulum Union Monsters 7. Create Pendulum Gemini Monsters 8. Create Generic Pendulum Archetypes to Support Links, Xyz, Synchros, Fusions, Rituals, Tribute, Normals, flip, union, gemini, spirits, Attributes, types etc 9. Print more column specific Effects on cards. 10. Print more Link 5s Less possible/realistic 1. *Create Link monsters with DEF points that are Red cards 2. *Create S/T cards with Pendulum Scales 3. *Create S/T cards with Link Arrows 4. *Create Speed Spells And a Speed Spell Deck Zone 5. Unfortunately, this is always going to happen in competitive games, especially online. I think it's probably best to avoid starting a match with anything but a positive mindset. At that point, getting called slurs becomes funny rather than insulting. (I distinctly remember laughing my ass off when someone said I shouldn't have survived the holocaust on edopro)

If anyone's losing hope, just remember- most games the judge ISN'T called, and things work out fine. =D ...that being said, Toxic Exodia Guy was patience-testing just to watch. He's not the worst rule shark we've seen but man is that attitude annoying. lol

As someone that enjoys some solitaire exodia from time to time, I exclusively play it on ygopro with bots and I don’t get why anyone would want to play otherwise. Like yea it could be cool getting exodia against a real player, but it takes away all the enjoyment knowing my opponent had no fun or interaction the whole game. Plus it’s much harder due to hand traps and longer resets.

Btjt97 is an attention fiend. Yu-Gi-Oh is a strategy based game,it's like playing chess you have to be a couple moves ahead in your brain but one chess ♟️ or card can be in your favor or your opponents favor.
