What kind of fuel you using? It was a hot day and even 30 mins in the bike didn't sound to be running too sluggish. Pump fuel would have been boiling for sure!

@@JeffWalker84 interesting, I had a really bad problem with 93 and t4 on hot days with my bike running sluggish and puking a lot of fuel out of the overflow tube. Switched to ets mx18 and tested it at coops and Baja that same weekend and zero problems. Big power difference too!

I run 50/50 mix of 93 non ethanol and VP c-12 in both my 2 strokes and 4 strokes and have always had good luck with it. But understand 93 non ethanol is not always available in some areas of the country

Yo Jeff walker, I’m looking for a bike to set up for motocross, I am 165 lbs 15 years old. I currently own a ktm 250 xc f 2009, but it feels to clapped to tune in for a racer bike. I wanted to know your opinion as u have raced a ton of bikes, I was looking to get a 125 2 stroke but I want to know what u think the right bike and brand and model to get

i’m not jeff but if you want a 125 i do recommend the yamaha yz125, simply because it’s the most reliable 125 out there. i didn’t mention Austrian bikes because they’re “experimenting” the fuel injection whereas the yz125 has the good ol carburator. the choice is up to you and what you like the most if you get the chance to try one

The problem isn't that they are too big it is the lip is too small and shallow and so not enough speed and lift to get over the triples.

Man, that was rough to watch. I was looking to seeing where you were in the motos, i though you weren't racing but the one thing you could work on is trusting your bike in unfamiliar terrain. A good and better rider is always adaptive that way. You cant worry too much about what the bike does, trust in where the bike goes. You'll find yourself mindlessly gliding through and around the track. I always like to say. Dont think of it as a pro race, think of it as just a day of riding as usual. It'll work wonders.

First race in 11 months. Was just a tad off my usual pace, and that's all it takes to not qualify. Qualifying video is uploading as we speak and will be posted tomorrow. Also had a good start in the LCQ, but fell on the first lap with another rider. Easy to say I would have made it if I didn't fall, but I truly believe that's the case. Next time!
