This is a terrible market for investors. It is however a FANTASTIC market for collectors. I have been able to grab some nostalgia inducing books from my childhood at a decent price.

Those books are not investments folks they are just average books. Stick to golden age books that are true major keys instead buying pure pieces of shit like books like this. You bought these books in hopes to make money then try buying a piece of coal and squeeze it with a sandwich press and hope It turns to a diamond then

I'd say when its all said and done most all prices will settle right back around pre-boom prices with the only evidence the "boom" ever happened being the $400 modern books you paid multiple thousands of dollars for collecting dust on the shelf! The "you" I'm talking to are the ones that let the prices get so out of hand by paying such ridiculous prices! Just my humble opinion! Great video!

There's a list of Marvel characters they keep trying to make "happen". Black Panther, Spiderwoman, Moon Knight, Silk, Nova, etc. I think they've given up on Sub mariner (good, horrific character). They get rebooted as a number 1 every other year. I literally wrote the list before watching the video.

It gets ponzi in rationale. I know this is a bad investment but what are the odds I’m the one holding the hot potato when the music stops ? When layers of people are the only rationale you have that is put between you and a bad buy then it’s willful ponzi participation.

It's only a bad investment if you're looking at it in the short term. Imagine buying any of these books for around $100 20 years ago; you're still doing just fine despite the market correction the last year or two.

Hey Dave did you give the prices on the Free Sample copies of Nintendo Power 1 or the Free Poster copies? You used the Free Sample image in the thumbnail but looks like you put the Free Poster Price ranges. The Free Sample issues are much rarer and in much rougher condition because they were sent in the mail only to Nintendo Club members back in the day. And finding a 9.0 under 2k would be an AMAZING find!
